It is with immense pride and joy that we share that Lamya Butt, a proud Dubai Scholars alumna, has been selected as the Student Speaker for Stanford University's 2026 Baccalaureate Celebration - an exceptional honour awarded to an outstanding graduating student.
Chosen to represent her graduating class, Lamya will address graduates, families, faculty, and guests during one of Stanford University's most significant Commencement Weekend events.
From the classrooms of Dubai Scholars to the halls of Stanford University, Lamya's journey is a testament to determination, leadership, academic excellence, and service to others. Graduating with Honours in Economics and a Minor in South Asian Studies, she has distinguished herself through her scholarship, leadership, and commitment to creating meaningful impact.
As she takes the stage tonight at 9:30 PM (UAE time), we celebrate not only her remarkable achievement but also the aspirations and potential of every Dubai Scholars student.

🏆 Dubai Scholars Closes the DASSA Season with Another Trophy! 🏆
Dubai Scholars ended the 2025–2026 DASSA season on a high, bringing home yet another trophy! 🥳
Our U15 Boys Football Team has been declared Joint Winners alongside Nibras International School in the Plate Cup Knockout Championship. 🏆⚽
On their journey to the final, the team secured impressive 1–0 victories against Repton School Dubai and The English College Dubai. 👏
Through discipline, dedication and determination, our students fought hard and earned this well-deserved achievement. 💪

We are proud to celebrate Ishdeep Singh Bindra (Year 11) for his outstanding achievement at the Dubai School Games 2026 Taekwondo Competition in the U17 category.

Curiosity meets creativity at the UAE STEAM Competition, where our young innovators proudly took the lead.
Celebrating creativity, collaboration, and innovation, our primary students represented Dubai Scholars with pride at the UAE STEAM Competition. The event provided a fantastic platform for them to showcase their ideas, creativity, and passion for innovation. Their enthusiasm, confidence, and dedication were clearly reflected as they worked together to develop solutions for real-world challenges.
The Year 1 Fin & Friends concert was a heartwarming celebration of confidence, creativity and self-expression at Dubai Scholars. From the excitement and anticipation behind the scenes to the joy and energy displayed on stage, every moment showcased the growth, enthusiasm and courage of our students. 🎭✨
Parents shared how proud they were to see their children step onto the stage with such confidence, with many reflecting on how these experiences help children grow, express themselves and discover their potential. Watching them perform with smiles, excitement and determination was a truly memorable experience for all. 🌟

We are delighted to share that Gianne Eva Mathias has received the “High Honours” Merit Award in the Spring 2026 Lumiere Scholars Essay Award.
Her insightful essay explored the question “Can AI and organ cultures replace the need for experiments using animals?”, set by Dr Klaus Okkenhaug from the University of Cambridge.
This outstanding achievement reflects strong academic curiosity, critical thinking, and confidence in engaging with complex global issues.
