✨ _Here’s our simple recap from the inspirations shared at St. Mary's Toastmasters Club on Tuesday, 23rd September!_🌟
All insights are still fresh to us, with a theme Brain Games, which was carefully thought by our Toastmaster of the Day, TM Sandali Bhagya, she led the meeting with passion and enthusiasm.
Kicked off by our Sergeant at Arms, TM Ringhu Matthew, who filled the room with lively mindfulness concepts to last throughout the meeting.
Inspired by our President, TM Shedly Patrick, on her Presjdential Address, where she reminded everyone about Toastmaster’s value, vision and mission to empower all members enhance their communication skills, confidence and leadership skills.
TM Lenza Fernandes, VP Membership delivered her prepared speech entitled “*Breathe Easy!*” which has made each soul in the room breathe easily and calmly as it was delivered with so much passion and dedication.
Followed by the prepared speech of Toastmaster Hannie Alipio for her Ice Breaker, which turned out like a phenomenon introduction of herself wearing *Different Hats!* It was so touching and endearing story of how she managed to her like with an exciting approach on her career, and personally life and believed she can sign up to the upcoming Tall Tales competition!
The most awaited Educational Session was conducted by Toastmaster Abdullah Gurukkal, who’s the Assistant Director of Division C. Toastmaster Abdullah has captured the hearts of audiences, as it was a heartfelt Educational session delivered with conviction! Indeed, TM Abdullah is a proof that effective Empathetic Leadership is to Lead with a Heart. It was truly a compelling insights and practical strategies, where everyone learned about the transformative power of empathy in leadership. I guess everyone agreed that an authority-driven and heart-centered leadership, led with greater compassion could truly be more rewarding!
Since it was Brain Games, of course our TMOD didn’t forget to throw a few Brain games which made all our brains worked like blaze but empowered and inspired!
TM Shedly Patrick was the Evaluator for the first speaker - TM Lenza, while TM Marlene Capo-Chi-chi was for the second speaker TM Hannie, and she was also the Grammarian for this night! both were magnificent in their own ways which garnered huge applause from audiences!
The Word of night was “EFFERVESCENT” carefully thought by TM Ringhu Mathew.
Finally, TM Riccha Kumari, Director-Area 9 has delivered her General Evaluation with flying colors! All her evaluation was mostly ! It was outstanding, thoughtful feedback, encouragement, and constructive suggestions with empathy and kindness. Her passion for helping others grow shone through, making it a truly inspiring experience.
