Ibtihaje El Senne is a teacher, coordinator, IB trainer and International Trainer of Trainers for Summer camps. She worked for several years at Hariri Foundation as Head of extra school’s activities. In 2011 she moved to the UAE and worked in several International schools as an Arabic teacher then Head of Arabic and Islamic Department in new IB schools. She was also responsible in organizing summer camps in collaboration with Dubai municipality. Recently she started working as a freelancer to support Arabic, Islamic and Social Studies Department in schools to improve their rating. Services:
New millennium for education is a private organization. We provide the following services:
1- Ongoing consultancy services for Arabic, Islamic and Social studies departments in private schools in the UAE and the region.
2- Arabic Language classes for Native and Non Native speakers face to face, online and with host family.
3- Day camps and Summer camps for kids and adolescents inside and outside the UAE during long holidays (December, Spring and Summer).
4- Trainings in Arabic Languages for Arabic Teachers.

✨ Professional Development Week | أسبوع التطوير المهني

خلال الأسبوع التطويري في مدرسة رويال الخاصة الإنجليزية – الفجيرة، تشرفت بتقديم ورشة تدريبية لمعلمي المواد الوزارية ركزنا خلالها على التغذية الراجعة الفعّالة وبيئة الصف الداعمة، وكيف يمكن للتغذية الراجعة أن تتجاوز التصحيح لتصبح أداة حقيقية لتحسين التعلم، تعزيز دافعية الطلبة، وبناء ثقافة صفية قائمة على التأمل والنمو. 🌱

It was a pleasure to deliver a professional development workshop for Ministry Subjects teachers at Royal Private English School – Fujairah, exploring effective feedback and positive classroom environments. We looked at how feedback can go beyond correction to become a powerful tool for improving learning, strengthening student motivation, and fostering a culture of reflection and continuous growth. 🌱

بداية الأسبوع؟ طاقة، حماس، وعمل حقيقي من الميدان! 🚀
بدأت أسبوعي التدريبي مع الهيئة الإدارية في مدرسة رويال الخاصة الإنجليزية – الفجيرة، في يوم مليء بالنقاشات، التأمل، وتبادل الخبرات.
اشتغلنا على محاور عملية تدعم القيادة المدرسية، من التخطيط والمتابعة، وضوح الأدوار والمسؤوليات، تحسين التعليم والتعلّم، بناء فرق العمل، وثقافة التحسين المستمر.
الأجمل؟ أن التدريب لم يكن مجرد جلسات… بل مساحة للتفكير، طرح الأسئلة، ومراجعة الممارسات بهدف واحد: أن ننتقل من إدارة العمل إلى قيادة الأثر. ✨

أسبوع بدأ بحماس… وما زال القادم أجمل.

What a way to start the week! 🚀
I kicked off my training week with the Leadership Team at Royal Private English School – Fujairah, in a highly engaging day filled with reflection, professional dialogue, and shared expertise.
Our work focused on practical areas that strengthen school leadership — planning and monitoring, clarity of roles and responsibilities, teaching and learning, team development, and building a culture of continuous improvement.
What made the day special was that it was more than training. It was an opportunity to question current practices, reflect, and turn professional learning into meaningful action.
Because effective leadership is not only about managing the work —
it is about leading impact. ✨

2026–2027 | فصل جديد. رؤية أعمق. أثر أكبر.

هذا العام أختار أن يكون مختلفًا…
أن يكون دوري تقديم التدريب، بناء القدرات، وتعزيز الثقة، وصناعة أثر مستدام.
مع المدارس، والمعلمين، والقيادات التعليمية…
نبدأ عامًا جديدًا من التعلّم، والتطوير، وإعادة التفكير، وتحويل الأفكار إلى ممارسات حقيقية داخل الصفوف والمدارس.
2026–2027 — لنجعلها سنة ذات معنى.
لكل مدرسة ولكل تربوي يبدأ عامًا جديدًا:
أتمنى أن تكون هذه السنة هي السنة التي يصبح فيها التعلّم المهني أثرًا ملموسًا في الصفوف، وتصبح القيادة أكثر وضوحًا وهدفًا، ويبدأ كل تغيير حقيقي بخطوة ذات معنى.
عام جديد. طاقة جديدة. أثر أعمق.

أربعة أيام... لم تكن مجرد تدريب، بل رحلة نحو قيادة أكثر تأثيرًا.
اختتمنا اليوم سلسلة الجلسات التطويرية المخصصة لرؤساء الأقسام (HOS) في مدرسة رويال الخاصة الإنجليزية – الفجيرة، والتي امتدت على مدار أربعة أيام من التعلم، والحوار، والتخطيط الاستراتيجي.
🔹 بدأنا ببناء فهم واضح لدور الـ HOS ومسؤولياته القيادية، والفرق بين القيادة والإدارة، وكيفية قيادة الفرق نحو تحسين جودة التعليم.
🔹 ثم انتقلنا إلى بناء الخطط التشغيلية، وتحديد الأولويات، وآليات المتابعة والمساءلة الفاعلة.
🔹 وخصصنا اليوم الثالث للتخطيط للفعاليات المدرسية (Events)، وكيف نجعل كل فعالية تجربة تعليمية هادفة ترتبط برؤية المدرسة وأثرها على تعلم الطلبة.
🔹 أما اليوم، فكان محطة للتأمل المهني (Reflection)، حيث قمنا بمراجعة جميع الفعاليات والخطط، وحددنا ما سنحافظ عليه، وما سنطوره، وما ينبغي إعادة تصميمه، قبل استكمال العمل على School Evaluation Form (SEF) استعدادًا للعام الدراسي القادم.
كانت أربعة أيام مليئة بالنقاشات العميقة، والتفكير النقدي، والعمل الجماعي، وبناء رؤية مشتركة لقيادة تعليمية أكثر جودة واستدامة.
ومع ختام هذه الرحلة التدريبية، نختتم أيضًا عامًا دراسيًا حافلًا بالإنجازات، لنستقبل العطلة الصيفية بفخر بما تحقق، وبحماس لما هو قادم.
كل الشكر لإدارة المدرسة ولفريق رؤساء الأقسام على التزامهم، وشغفهم بالتطوير، وإيمانهم بأن التحسين المستمر يبدأ بقادة يصنعون الفرق.
Four Days of Learning. Reflection. Leadership. Growth.
Today, we concluded an inspiring four-day professional development journey with the Heads of School (HOS) at Royal Private English School – Fujairah.
Throughout the programme, we focused on strengthening instructional leadership by:
✔ Clarifying the strategic role of the HOS and leading high-performing teams.
✔ Developing operational planning, accountability, and effective monitoring systems.
✔ Designing meaningful school events that align with the school's vision and enhance students' learning experiences.
✔ Engaging in professional reflection to evaluate our current practices—identifying what to sustain, what to improve, and what to redesign—before continuing our work on the School Evaluation Form (SEF) in preparation for the new academic year.
These four days were not simply training sessions; they were an investment in leadership capacity, collaboration, continuous improvement, and a shared commitment to educational excellence.
As we conclude this professional learning journey, we also close another successful academic year with gratitude, pride, and optimism for the opportunities ahead.

يومٌ حافل بالتعلّم والتطوير في مدرسة رويال الخاصة – الفجيرة.

قدّمت اليوم ورشتين تدريبيتين تطبيقيتين؛ الأولى لمعلمي العلوم والاقتصاد لمراجعة وتطوير نطاق وتسلسل المنهج (Scope & Sequence) بما يضمن ترابط المحتوى وتحقيق نواتج التعلم بكفاءة، والثانية لمعلمي الرياضيات والتكنولوجيا ركزت على استراتيجيات عملية تعزز جودة التدريس داخل الصف.

كما استعرضنا أدوات تقييم ختامية مبتكرة، وأنشطة تفاعلية جاهزة للتطبيق تساعد على قياس تعلم الطلبة بصورة فورية، وتعزز التفكير، والمشاركة، ودافعية التعلم، مع تحويل نهاية العام الدراسي إلى فرصة حقيقية للتأمل والتطوير والاستعداد للعام القادم.

A productive day of professional learning at Royal Private School – Fujairah.
Today, I delivered two hands-on professional development workshops: the first focused on reviewing and strengthening the Scope & Sequence for the Science and Economics departments to ensure curriculum coherence and progression, while the second engaged Mathematics and Technology teachers in practical, classroom-ready strategies to enhance teaching and learning.

The sessions also introduced innovative end-of-year assessment tools and engaging learning activities designed to measure learning outcomes instantly, increase student engagement, promote critical thinking, and support meaningful reflection as schools prepare for the new academic year.

في ختام العام الدراسي، سعدنا اليوم بعقد ورشة عمل تأملية (Reflection Workshop) مع معلمي اللغة الإنجليزية من مرحلة الروضة حتى الصف الثاني عشر في مدرسة رويال الإنجليزية الخاصة – الفجيرة (المنهج البريطاني).

شكلت الورشة فرصة للاحتفاء بالإنجازات، والتأمل في الممارسات التعليمية، وتبادل أفضل الخبرات، واستخلاص الدروس المستفادة، إلى جانب وضع رؤى وأهداف واضحة للعام الدراسي القادم، بما يضمن استمرارية التطوير والتميز في التعليم والتعلّم.

كل الشكر لفريق اللغة الإنجليزية على التزامهم، وشغفهم، وروح التعاون التي كانت أساس نجاح هذا العام. معًا نصنع مستقبلًا تعليميًا أكثر إلهامًا.

As we wrap up the academic year, we were delighted to facilitate a Reflection Workshop with the English Department teachers, from Kindergarten to Grade 12, at Royal English Private School – Fujairah (British Curriculum).

The session celebrated this year's achievements, encouraged professional reflection, shared best practices, identified key learning points, and set a clear vision for continuous growth and excellence in the coming academic year.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire English team for their dedication, collaboration, and commitment to providing outstanding learning experiences for every student.

تجربة تعليمية ملهمة جمعتني اليوم افتراضيًا مع معلمي المواد الوزارية في Swiss International School Qatar، حيث استكشفنا معًا كيفية تصميم وحدات بحثية قائمة على المفاهيم ضمن إطار برنامج International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP)
ركزنا خلال الورشة على:
🔹 فهم الفرق بين المنهج ثنائي الأبعاد والمنهج ثلاثي الأبعاد.
🔹 صياغة الأفكار المركزية بطريقة واضحة وعميقة.
🔹 تصميم تجارب تعلم تعزز الاستقصاء وتبني الفهم المفاهيمي لدى الطلبة.
تميزت الورشة بتفاعل ثري من المشاركين، ونقاشات عميقة، وتبادل للأفكار والخبرات العملية التي أضافت قيمة حقيقية للحوار. وقد عكس هذا التفاعل حرص المعلمين على تطوير ممارسات تعليمية تركز على بناء المعنى والفهم العميق، وليس فقط تقديم المحتوى.

An inspiring virtual learning experience today with the Ministry Subjects teachers at Swiss International School Qatar, where we explored how to design concept-based units of inquiry within the framework of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP).
Together, we focused on:
🔹 Understanding the difference between two-dimensional and three-dimensional curriculum design.
🔹 Crafting clear and meaningful central ideas.
🔹 Designing learning experiences that foster inquiry and conceptual understanding.
The session was enriched by the participants’ active engagement, thoughtful discussions, and valuable exchange of experiences and practical insights. Their enthusiasm highlighted the power of moving beyond content coverage toward deeper understanding and authentic learning.

Three days. One shared purpose. Multiple countries, one learning community.
It was a privilege to work with a diverse group of educators from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Lebanon in an intensive workshop on Building Your IB–PYP. What made this experience truly powerful wasn’t only the content—it was the depth of dialogue, the honest reflections, and the collective commitment to rethinking teaching and learning.
Together, we explored how the PYP can move beyond framework into lived practice—through inquiry, agency, and meaningful connections. The level of engagement, the questions raised, and the willingness to challenge perspectives reminded me once again: impactful professional learning happens when educators feel safe to think, question, and grow together.
Grateful for the invitation and the thoughtful organization by Educational Development Institute – Qatar Foundation, and for every participant who made these three days rich, inspiring, and real.
ثلاثة أيام… هدف واحد… ومجتمع تعلّم واحد رغم تعدد الدول.
كان من دواعي سروري العمل مع مجموعة مميزة من المعلمين من قطر والسعودية والأردن ولبنان ضمن ورشة مكثفة بعنوان Building Your IB–PYP. ما ميّز هذه التجربة لم يكن المحتوى فقط، بل عمق النقاشات، وصدق التأملات، والرغبة الحقيقية في إعادة التفكير بممارسات التعليم والتعلّم.
خلال الورشة، عملنا معاً على نقل برنامج السنوات الابتدائية من كونه إطاراً نظرياً إلى ممارسة حقيقية قائمة على الاستقصاء، وتنمية دور الطالب، وبناء تعلم ذي معنى. مستوى التفاعل والأسئلة والنقاشات عكس شغفاً مهنياً عالياً وإيماناً بأهمية التطوير المستمر.
