One of the most special parts of our End-of-Year Celebration was hearing from our students themselves. 🌱

Through their speeches, our students shared their experiences, memories, and reflections from their time at The Learning Tree. Their words captured the confidence they have built, the progress they have made, and the wonderful journeys they have been on throughout the year. 🌟

It was especially heartwarming to hear our students express their appreciation and gratitude towards their teachers, parents, and everyone who has supported them along the way. Their recognition of the people who have helped guide, encourage, and inspire them truly reflected the values we hold so closely at The Learning Tree. 💚

Gratitude is a big part of our TLT community, and moments like these remind us of the importance of celebrating not only achievements, but also the relationships, support, and teamwork that help our students grow and thrive. ✨

From the incredible cultural outfits to the buzzing entrepreneurial stalls, it was so special to see our community come together for a day filled with creativity, confidence, culture, and celebration.

Our students worked so hard preparing their products, setting up their stalls, and representing their cultures with pride — and hearing the positive feedback from both parents and students makes it all even more meaningful. 👏💡🛍️

It was wonderful to hear how much everyone enjoyed:

🌍🛍️ A few weeks ago, we had another fantastic edition of the Market Tree, this time combined with our vibrant International Day celebrations! It was truly a wonderful day filled with culture, creativity, confidence, and community spirit from start to finish. ❤️

Our entrepreneurship students, alongside our younger learners, all came dressed proudly in their beautiful traditional attire, representing cultures and countries from all around the world. 👗🌎 From colourful dresses and elegant abayas to traditional kurtas, thobes, and cultural accessories. It was such a special opportunity for students to share and embrace their backgrounds while learning more about one another’s cultures and traditions.

To make the day even more exciting, we held a Best Dressed competition across each age group – and even amongst the teachers too! 🏆✨ The judges definitely had an incredibly difficult task choosing the winners because every single student and teacher put so much effort, thought, and pride into their outfits. Our winners received some very special prizes for standing out! 👏🎉

Following all the celebrations, the Market Tree took place, where our entrepreneurship students once again showcased and sold their incredible products. 🛍️💡 From handmade creations and sweet treats to fun games and creative business ideas, students demonstrated fantastic teamwork, communication, marketing, and entrepreneurial skills throughout the event. It was wonderful to see their hard work, preparation, and confidence shine through as they interacted with customers and managed their stalls so professionally.

⚡️ Switched on to safety! 🔌

Our KS2 students have been learning all about electricity switches – and, more importantly, how to stay safe around power. This is definitely must-know knowledge for life!

Students worked in pairs to create wonderful, creative posters full of bright ideas, clear warnings, and smart switch science. From “don’t overload sockets” to “turn it off at the wall” – these posters have it covered. 👏

So proud of the teamwork, the imagination, and the life-saving messages on display. Well done, everyone! 🙌
