UOWD Media students recently showcased their creativity, technical skills and storytelling abilities at the BCM Project Showcase and Exhibition.

From purpose-led social media campaigns for start-up brands, short films, to poster campaigns, motion design projects and editorial design work, the showcase reflected the range of creative practice taking place across the program.

What an inspiring two days at the UOWD Engineering Innovation Fair 2026!

Students showcased projects across robotics, renewable energy, sustainability, healthcare technologies, smart systems, AI and applied engineering, presenting their work to judges from academia, industry and government.

Meet Afrah Ahmed, UOWD Computer Science and IT Management alumna, now working as a full-time consultant with NTT Data Business Solutions Türkiye, where she serves as Product Owner for BSH Hausgeräte GmbH Global RPA Center of Excellence, helping lead the company's global automation strategy across more than 25 countries.

Her program has driven major efficiency gains for teams worldwide, a journey she traces back to the problem-solving skills she built at UOWD.

UOWD High School Summer Camp 2026 is officially a wrap!

Students enjoyed building business ideas, coding and exploring AI and cybersecurity, programming robots and building circuits, filming their own short film, and learning how to handle stress and pressure with practical psychology tools.

Five camps, three incredible days of hands-on learning, new friendships, and a real taste of university life.

Huge thanks to our academics who led every session, and to all the students who showed up ready to explore, build, and create.

UOWD School of Business students presented Gen Z marketing insights to the What’s On Dubai executives, as part of their Marketing Strategy & Innovation subject.

We welcomed educators from across the UAE to share classroom practices, explore new approaches to teaching and learning, and take part in workshops on AI, neurodiversity, creativity, wellbeing, and more.

At a recent postgraduate and alumni roundtable, representatives from Kia Middle East, Beiersdorf and Marc Ellis shared insights into AI-enabled recruitment, changing employer expectations and the skills candidates need to remain competitive.

The panel discussion was followed by an interactive Q&A and networking session, giving students and alumni the opportunity to connect current hiring trends with their own career development.
