In Science, the children drew the bones of the hand onto their hands using a highlighter. They then shone a UV light over their hands to see the bones in UV light!

Drama
Year 7 had a very successful day on Sunday exploring the theme of Sustainability through the medium of Drama. The students created some very powerful images and movement to highlight their feelings and opinions about the impact we are having on our world.
Thanks to all of the Drama team Mrs O’Connor, Mrs Harrison, Ms Hodson and Mrs Strachan and of course, our wonderful Year 7!

Repton School Art Exhibition on the QE2
Year 4 are getting ready for the exhibition on the QE2. They are planning out the composition for their collaborative Cubist artwork which looks fantastic!

ARTS FESTIVAL 2019
As a highlight of our annual Arts Festival we are excited to be showing a variety of artworks created by a selection of Repton students in this iconic Dubai venue. The QE2 is now docked permanently at Dubai’s Mina Rashid and is a legendary ocean liner steeped in history. Many artists and performers have been aboard this inspirational space.
The Repton School Art Exhibition will include pieces that have been exhibited at DIFC Art Nights, World Art Dubai, examples of the exceptional work from our iGCSE and IB students and a wide variety of additional works made by the students from every year group. We will be showing our collaborative artworks made in conjunction with the Manzil Centre and also include some live art demonstrations during the event.
In addition to the Artwork we will have incidental music played by some of our fabulous musicians throughout the event. There will also be a refreshments and snacks available to purchase in the Crystal Room for you to enjoy as you view the Art. We hope you can join the Repton community for this celebration of creativity!
