Last weekend, our annual Milestones Concert brought together the Centre for Musical Arts Senior Wind Ensemble, joined by some members of the Dubai musical community, for a wonderful evening of music at the Black Box Theatre at Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children.

This concert is always a special moment in our calendar — a chance to celebrate the hard work, commitment and musical growth of the students in the ensemble, whilst also recognising and thanking our senior students who will be moving on at the end of this academic year.

This year’s programme reflected the students themselves, with music chosen by our senior ensemble members, featuring favourites from The Lion King, James Bond, Les Misérables and West Side Story, alongside two pieces inspired by Arabic folk and popular music.

We are incredibly proud of the high standard of musicianship, teamwork and dedication shown by every student on stage. Congratulations to all involved for such a memorable evening.
