A non-profit organisation dedicated to providing quality musical instruction to adults and children alike.Classes include individual and group instrumental lessons, ensembles, choirs, music appreciation, summer courses. Our job opportunities have been updated! Recruiting for January 2027.

1. Brass Specialist (preferably a lower brass teacher but with the ability to teach all brass instruments)

2. Woodwind Specialist (with ability to teach both Flute and Clarinet)

3. Cello Specialist (with ability to also teach either piano or upper strings)

All roles must be prepared to teach in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi. All opportunities can be part time or full time.

We are delighted to launch the Classical Editon of the CMA Young Musician Competition 2026. In now its 11th year, the Competition is a true celebration of musicianship at all levels which encourages commitment and rewards excellence.

Registrations are now open and close on Thursday 8th October. The initial rounds and the final will all take place at Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children, with heats on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th October. The Level Awards Final will be held on Friday 30th October.

We are hosting an open day on Sunday 6th September for students to try out our ensembles, and we look forward to seeing you then!

CMA is immensly proud of its programme of ensembles for the whole musical community. Our ensemble participants are able to take advantage of opportunities for performance at CMA Events, as well as local, regional, and international performances.

CMA Ensembles are not auditioned, but participation and commitment is a key element of the success, and performance is at the heart of this success. We Bring Music to Everyone, and welcome students from CMA, Partner Schools, as well as those who do not have lessons at CMA to be part of our ensembles.

We are excited to continue developing our existing ensembles, as well as reintroducing some of our classic ensembles such as the Jukebox Rockband, and our brand new beginner ensembles, designed for those at the very beginning of their musical journeys.

Fees for all CMA ensembles are charged AED 350 per term. This covers the cost of music, materials and instruments. We keep the price of the ensembles as low as possible to encourage as many participants as possible to experience the joy of playing music together.
