has kicked off its Knowledge and Training Exchange Program for Agricultural Sustainability, designed to elevate the Center’s approach to capacity development by connecting scientific knowledge with practical application, innovation and scale-up.
The program’s first cohort includes 10 specialists from Uzbekistan as part of the scale-up phase of the Karakalpakstan Project. From 21–23 September, participants are undertaking hands-on training in Dubai on integrated fish and crop production, followed by field application in Nukus on 5–6 October.
Funded by the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD), the initiative supports the project’s transition from science to innovation by strengthening local expertise and accelerating the application and wider adoption of proven agricultural solutions in Karakalpakstan.
أطلق #إكبا برنامج تبادل المعرفة والتدريب من أجل الاستدامة الزراعية، لتطوير نهجه في بناء القدرات عبر ربط المعرفة العلمية بالتطبيق العملي والابتكار والتوسع في استخدام الحلول الزراعية.
وتضم الدفعة الأولى من البرنامج 10 مختصين من أوزبكستان، ضمن مرحلة توسّع مشروع كاراكالباكستان. ويتلقّى المشاركون تدريباً عملياً في دبي، من 21 إلى 23 سبتمبر، على النظم المتكاملة للاستزراع السمكي والإنتاج الزراعي، تتبعه مرحلة تطبيق ميداني في نوكوس يومَي 5 و6 أكتوبر.
وبتمويل من صندوق أبوظبي للتنمية، تدعم المبادرة انتقال المشروع من البحث العلمي إلى الابتكار، من خلال تعزيز الخبرات المحلية وتسريع تطبيق الحلول الزراعية التي أثبتت نجاحها وتوسيع نطاق استخدامها في كاراكالباكستان.
