Filling the gap between mainstream schools and special needs centers by providing the best education
Jad's Inclusion (JI) is a non-profit special education center structured as a school. The center was founded by a mother to provide the best possible education for children like her own son with mild to moderate learning difficulties or delays aged between 4 – 16 years old. These children typically do not get accepted or their needs can not be effectively met by mainstream schools, however, a spec
ial needs center would also not be the correct placement for them, as their needs are not severe enough. JI will cater to these children and will fill the existing gap between mainstream schools and special needs centers. JI’s objective is to offer high-standard quality of care for students in a safe and caring environment. Moreover, we follow individualized programs to maximize each student’s strengths, rather than the blanket approach that is trending. This approach can result in a “warehousing effect” where a child’s individual care becomes the norm and staff lose sight of the bigger picture/goals for the individuals in their care.
