Green treasure basket 🐛 I put this treasure basket together within 5 min. I went around the house and picking toys and a few everyday items that is safe for Rakan mouth and explore. He absolutely loved digging in and discovering something new with every grab.
Benefits of treasure baskets: Babies gain a rich sensory experience through sucking, handling and putting items in their mouths. By doing this they are also learning about weight , size, shape, texture, sound and smell.🌿

Rakan’s favorite at the moment: watching me stack these nesting cups and having the pleasure of knocking them over. Repeat x100

Rakan will only be able to start stacking these cups at around 12 months, but for now he is all about using them as teethers. This is still a great activity for encouraging hand-eye coordination and is boosting fine and gross motor skills. Look at that posture!
It’s also quite exciting to roll the cups or to hide small objects under it and see he’s reaction, if any. (It’s quite hard to impress this guy!) 🌿

Our first staycation as a family 🌴
We had so much fun swimming with our little dumpling. This float is everything! A must-have for all the little swimmers.

Juggling scarves 🤹🏻‍♂️

I love open ended material! There are so many activities that come from these silk scarves, but for now we’re just exploring the fabric by tasting and touching.

Lately, Rakan has been putting lose pieces of clothing or blankets over his face and just laying with his face covered in it 😅 Obviously I have to keep a close eye on him, these scarves have been giving him the opportunity to exert this phase safely and it sure is fun to see the world through a colored silk!

Can you tell we’re enjoying our new environment? It’s been a crazy week in our house, and it continues... Moving has not been easy with a almost 6 month old 🤦🏻‍♀️ Really hoping to settle in completely over the next week. Moving day! A bitter sweet goodbye to our first apartment. We entered as 2 and we’re leaving as 3. This boy has been such a champ with all the movement going on around him over the last week. We’re so excited to move into a new area in Dubai, make some new connections and friends 🌿

DIY rainbow mobile 🌈 hangers have been my all time favorite go to during these restricting times. So this is a metal hanger, shaped into a hoop. It will be hardly noticeable as the ribbons will cover it all around. Rainbow has been my favorite colors these days, giving me all the happy feels 🌿
