NEXT WORKSHOP: FEB 4-6! Join us next weekend for our ‘Intro to Grasshopper: Parametric Facades’ workshop, and learn how to create parametric forms using the techniques learned from the sessions. The workshop was very helpful and I quickly learned the way Grasshopper worked thanks to the instructor’s step-by-step demonstrations, as well as clear explanations on the workflow behind parametric design and modelling, as well as how to manipulate data trees. Grasshopper at a first glance seems rather complicated and challenging .The tutorials on YouTube don’t explain how and why certain steps are taken , but this workshop gave me a clear understanding of the steps and the script of very interesting parametric designs . There were a range of types of designs taught in the workshop which are very useful for integration in architectural studios . Our instructor Mr. Wasay made sure the concepts were clear to all the students along with solving any doubts that we asked . Overall it was an extremely interesting and fun workshop.
