That independence doesn’t happen overnight. It builds slowly, session by session, over weeks and months. 30 minutes, twice a week. And one day you notice they’re not asking for help the way they used to. They back themselves.

🌙 Islamic New Year Holiday Notice 🌙

Kumon Dubai Hills will be closed on Monday 17 June in observance of the Islamic New Year (Hijri New Year).

We wish all our students and families a blessed and peaceful New Year filled with happiness, good health, and success.

Regular classes will resume as scheduled from Tuesday.

Summer isn’t a break from learning, it’s the best time for it.

Research shows that children can lose months of progress over the summer holidays and I know this more than anyone, particularly in reading fluency and maths recall.

For younger children, it can take weeks of the new school year just to get back to where they were in June. It’s called summer learning loss, and the evidence behind it is hard to ignore.

Summer at Kumon Dubai Hills isn’t a wind-down. No school pressure, no homework stress, just calm, consistent progress at exactly the right level for each child. Our team is already setting up something really special for July and August, and I can’t wait to share it.

We have a big announcement!

We thought long and hard about what our students and our community needs, especially with school disruptions and breaks, we feel like the kids have fallen behind - despite every effort.

So we are excited to be launching Summer Plus+ at Kumon Dubai Hills this July & August! 🎉 we invite students to catch up on their Kumon and stay engaged with learning, preparing them for the new academic year

It’s our gift to all our students this summer, no extra fees, just more value.

What’s included:

⏱ +30 min enrichment at every class visit - maths, reading, language games and vocabulary activities led by a dedicated team member. This won’t be just colouring, each session has been designed with my speech and language and education background. We will have some morning classes too!

🎨 Special workshops art, cognitive games, storytelling, movie nights and STEM challenges, dates etc as we invite local businesses to participate!

💸 Kumon Dollars - ok this idea was borrowed from another centre! Every student earns K$ all summer for: completing daily homework, finishing their in-centre work on time, attending workshops and more. At the end we open the Kumon Shop and students spend their dollars on a prize! 🏆

Progress doesn't happen overnight, it happens every day

At Kumon Dubai Hills, children build real ability through daily practice, one small step at a time. And we make sure parents are never left wondering how their child is doing. Along with regular feedback, every end of school year, we sit down with our families to review what their child has achieved and make sure they're set up for a strong start to the academic year. Many of our students are already studying above their grade level and this summer, even more students are aiming to do the same!

Dubai life runs on a village. 🏡
As a busy Dubai mum and the founder of Kumon Dubai Hills, I know first-hand that we couldn’t do this without the incredible people who support our children at home every day.
Kumon is a home programme — the daily homework is where the real growth happens. So we decided to train our village.
This week we hosted our first-ever Nanny & Helpers Workshop, bringing together nannies, grannies and parents from all different backgrounds to learn together. They asked the most thoughtful questions and helped us understand what’s really going on at home. 🙌
We covered Maths & English at home, age-appropriate support, the Kumon Connect app, and so much more.
This is the first of many. 💛
