This man got married last week!

In his field, Tayler is well known for being the hardest worker in the room.

His work ethic has led him to build a few extremely successful businesses that would make any entrepreneur envious.

That being said, one thing was missing in his life… The confidence in his body and fitness was yet to be built.

Not knowing what to do had led him to feel like he didn’t belong in the gym.

This is why he approached me for face to face PT last year…

Though it can be great to learn the technique of each exercises with a face to face personal trainer… it is NEVER optimal to rely on an appointment to get fit forever.

It gives you a false sense of autonomy and without an appointment, many people quickly fall back to their old routine.

So the focus for ROUND 2 was different…

We did it through my online fitness mentoring program.

This time:

❌ NO appointments to train

❌ NOBODY pushing you through the exercises.

✅ INSTEAD…. a well-defined plan of action that would fit his lifestyle.

✅ Add an element of support and accountability and you’ve got the perfect recipe for long lasting change.

He now admits that this is a much more sustainable approach for his busy schedule.

This is what Tayler achieved in only a few weeks of training while:

1️⃣ Travelling through Dubai, Germany and Greece over the last 3 months.

2️⃣ Living in hotels most of the time.

3️⃣ Being vegan.

It's been a year!!

A year exactly since I started my instagram journey.

And man... That was challenging,

I'm someone you would call... private.

Being the centre of attention has never really been my thing.

But once in a while you need to challenge yourself...

You need to get out of your comfort zone so that you can grow.

This isn't about the amount of followers I have, or the amount of likes I get.

It's about everything you do not see:

Improving my copywriting (this is especially hard since this isn't my first language).

Overcoming my fears of being judged, because I often care too much about what people think of me.

Impacting my community with what I believe in : Being physically and mentally fit and strong can change your life for the better.

Connecting with like-minded people.

Are you stuck with where you are now?

Health, relationship, business, physique...

Please... Do yourself a favour.

Kick yourself in the ass and DO something about it.

This is the only way forward 💪

“You must take more initiative Anthony…”

This is what my manager wrote on my report as I finished my University internship. 🎓

It didn’t feel great, but it was honest feedback…

See... after my Sport Science degree I decided to do an internship in a gym that focused mainly on Group classes.

I have nothing against them..

But I knew that it just wasn’t what I was meant to do. Being in front of a lot of people to entertain them isn’t what I really like.

I like to add a personal touch…

And because I didn’t necessarily like it, I just didn’t put much energy into it.

Unfortunately at that time in France, group classes were all that I could aspire to do with little experience…

So what did I do?

I took the feedback onboard and moved to England, Where Personal Training was a lot more prevalent.

I remember making the decision 2 weeks before flying.

Ohh man, It was scary…

I didn’t know anyone and had to start the language from 0…

I worked as an Au Pair so that I could go to school myself and afford to live in London.

The truth is...

I am eternally grateful for that comment. And I still keep it in mind whenever I feel stuck and need a bit of a push.👊

Without taking this initiative, who knows where I would be right now… maybe having lots of joint issues from jumping everywhere!

So this is it from my end.

“For the first time in my life, I am not embarrassed to get my photo taken and it is a feeling of freedom!”

What an amazing transformation James has achieved! Losing above 30kg in less than 6 months isn’t an easy task to do as an ONLINE client….

…but he managed to get it done while being a father, husband and a BUSY professional. 💪

He contacted me after seeing what the Bagpipe master Lincoln Hilton had achieved in his first 12 weeks of online training and could not believe these results were attainable.

Before reaching out to me, he had tried:

❎Face to face PT
❎Crossfit
❎Juice diets
❎Intermittent fasting

..and without success with these, he had lost hope that he could even make this level of long term change.

He had the false preconception that in order to achieve significant progress, you need to train 2 hours a day, have a dietician and a full time chef cooking for you…!?!

NOW, a few months down the line, he has had a PARADIGM SHIFT and admits that he is no longer a slave to sugar and he can play the bagpipes without sweating ‘an awful lot.’

❓Have you heard of the ‘skinny fat’ dilemma?!

‘Skinny fat’ tends to look like … men that do not have as much muscle as they would like to have, they have skinny limbs, and carry their body fat around their midsection.

Their goal: To see their abs and add some decent muscle mass so that they can ‘fill’ their T-shirts the right way and look good naked.

BUT there is a common psychological BARRIER that men have when it comes to this.

I encounter it often with clients and I too, used to feel and think the same.

The mistake that they make is … getting too hung up about their weight on the scales!!!

They set themselves up to failure by setting goals that are, let’s be honest, unrealistic.

I often hear something along the lines of ‘I want to put on 5kg of muscles in 12 weeks while getting leaner!’

This isn’t possible! At least for guys that choose to do it the natural way.

Because the rate of fat loss is much quicker than the rate of muscle building, if you have fat to lose and want to see physical results quickly, your body weight should go down!

At least initially.

You need to train HARD and gradually increase your calorie intake to build lean tissue.

This is really the best way to achieve your dream physique the fastest way possible.

Because looking good naked is DIFFERENT than weighing a specific number on the scale.

So ditch all the assumptions about the weight you think you should be…

Don't let your perception of body weight be another obstacle when it comes to looking your best.

And if someone asks you: How much do you weigh? Leave your ego at the door and simply answer ‘I don’t take my bodyweight.’

40 hours 🕥

40 hours is the time I have spent on calls talking to Lincoln over a year of Online Training. So you might recognise him from his original transformation..and as you can see, he's been able to maintain a high standard of physique and fitness. (Pull ups with 20kg and 100kg bench is the new norm!)

The goal isn't JUST to keep him accountable....

The goal is also to EDUCATE him in each of our calls and continue breaking plateaus...

So that he can have the tools and knowledge to understand what matters when it comes to his own fitness and health journey.

Well done Lincoln for officially becoming an Ambassador of what I do and live for.

May you inspire other people to take ownership of their health and fitness 💪

Humans are designed to move ❕❗️❕❗️

From an evolutionary point of view, movement has been essential to our survival as a species.

But with the nature of our work and spending more and more time in front of our laptops, phones and televisions. Sedentary behaviour is now prolific...

What constitutes sedentary behaviour??

Basically any time spent sitting or lying. (Any waking time with a very low energy expenditure).

Without looking at your diary, I am almost certain that this makes up between 50 and 70% of your time.

The bad news is that it isn't getting better... A study called "Changes in sedentary behaviour in European Union adults between 2002 and 2017" shows that we are just getting less and less movement and this is especially true for men according to this study !

The ugly news is that lack of movement decreases the quality of your life in the long term and increases all-cause mortality...

It's a no-brainer to me! It's time to make time in your schedule to do what we are designed to do:

MOVE!

Manuel was skeptical to sign up to online training at first. He discovered us through Instagram and so inevitably had his reservations. But by training from home, and with very minimal equipment (just 2 DBs and a barbell!) he was able to lose 12kg and reverse his fatty liver.

In Manuel's words "this transformation allowed me to 'free up' some space in my mind that had previously been spent stressing and worrying about health and my body weight. I am now able to focus better on other more important areas in my life."

A complete training and nutrition overhaul achieved through hard work and discipline! Bravo! 👏
