A Milestone for HERC and UAE Sports Science!

When we submitted the first research application in 2021, a inaugural year of UAE Research Map, the landscape looked very different. At that time, "Sports and Exercise Science" wasn't even an available field or option for research recognition in the UAE.

Today, we are incredibly proud to announce that our founder, Zeljko Banicevic , has been officially recognized as a Future Expert on the UAE Research Map.

This isn't just a personal achievement; it’s a milestone worth celebrating for the entire industry. It represents years of pushing boundaries, advocating for evidence-based fitness, and proving that sports science is essential to the nation's health and advancement.

Thank you to the Advanced Technology Research Council Technology Research Council and the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research for this prestigious recognition.

Become a Strength & Conditioning Specialist!

HERC's Education Department will provide the latest theoretical and practical information and empower you to advance your career. Throughout the course, you will be mentored by our sports medicine and exercise & sports science professors, with M.Sc & Ph.D. degrees, on top of the decades-long practical experience.

Requirements

This course is aimed at learners who are qualified (full status) Personal Trainers or Sports Coaches looking to advance into a specialized field of strength & conditioning.

What to expect

Level 4 Certificate in Strength & Conditioning (RQF) is regulated by the UK's OFQUAL and learners will gain knowledge and understanding how to improve athletic performance, through a systematic approach to develop athletic qualities such speed, strength & power, as well as how to reduce sport injuries.
