Remote therapy and learning support in ABA is a structured program that requires planning, engagement, and clinical accountability. In this CPD, we explore how therapists can effectively support clients using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in a remote learning and home environments while meeting policy and procedure requirements.
This session focuses on real-life challenges therapists face online or home settings, such as low engagement, parent dependency, and student behavior issues, and provides practical ABA strategies to address them.
Participants will learn about tools, examples, and out-of-the-box strategies to improve client engagement, independence, and learning outcomes in remote and home support service settings.

The program on ABA Skills for Parents and LSAs covers the fundamentals of behavior from an ABA perspective. You'll learn teaching strategies including skill acquisition methods to help your learner acquire new skills and work on challenging behaviors through reduction approaches while emphasizing the need to teach prerequisite skills to the child.

Upon completion, you'll receive a KHDA attested certificate which is a requirement for job application in schools for roles of inclusion assistant or learning support assistant. This training is partly based on ABAT and IBT behavior therapist modules, and you can choose to carry on your learning path for these credentials if you plan to get board certified as a behavior therapist.
