THE PUPPY PERSPECTIVE

Meet Kobi. This 10-week old bundle of furry fun arrived on Sunday. He has been the single most spontaneous decision I have ever made as I am not really a ‘pet person’.

Kobi is the typical puppy....and I notice that through his eyes, there is nothing but playful joy, excitement, optimism & curiosity.

In the midst of adapting to a new puppy at home (quite challenging), I’m working on an important proposal and feeling under pressure with the tight deadlines whilst at the same time wondering ‘what are my chances anyway’?

I wondered what Kobi might make of my situation?

For starters, he would certainly not do the 10th round of ‘perfecting’ edits, instead he’d probably focus his energy on building connection & trust through personal interaction not paperwork. He’d probably share his enthusiasm & excitement about the project and enjoy the process with curiosity rather than catastrophize over the what if’s. And finally, in Kobi’s world, what you see is what you get. He will give you his 100% but if it’s not for you, it’s okay, he’ll find someone else.

As humans, we all seem to take life very seriously. Somehow, we lose perspective and get blinded by fear of something that hasn’t even materialized, when really, we have choices. Your choice of perspective impacts your thoughts and feelings which in turn drive action to delivers results...or not.

So, it all starts in our heads. Your mindset really matters.

Which of these have you told yourself recently...?

I can certainly relate.

Two years ago, I checked ☑ all 5 and would not have believed you had told me that I would set up a Coaching business. Instead, it was easier to believe the above.

Many of our beliefs are not ‘absolute truths. Infact, some are just lies we tell ourselves. They keep us safe, but limit our progress and worst of all, can make us feel unworthy.

By recognizing and facing them however, we can begin a process to remove and replace them with more empowering beliefs that can support us to be limitless not limited.

So, what limiting lie have you been telling yourself?

It’s incredibly rewarding to witness a ‘Discovery’ session unfold, watching my clients engage in a self-exploration process to peel back areas such as:

✴ what’s most important

✴ the impact you have or want as as a leader, manager or team player

✴ things you tolerate yet no longer serve you

✴ goals you hold for your career/personal life


Such self-reflection promotes AWARENESS and through awareness comes the possibility of CHANGE. To move from where you are right now to where you want to be.

For my clients, this step alone can uncover so many ‘A-HA’s’ simply because together we take the time and space to ask the questions we never ask of ourselves.

W H A T M A K E S Y O U, Y O U?

I wanted to introduce myself….but not through a list of my past roles & responsibilities, but in a way that you might get to ‘know’ me. Here
are a few things I’d like to share:-

☆ I love hiking and yoga – I can't live without either and dream about building them into my work.
☆ I’m scared of cats and kittens – crazy I know! A phobia I have had since I was 15 years old.
☆ I had a bone in my neck removed – a real low point in my life but came with so much learning.
☆ I was born in Rajasthan – I’m extremely proud of my heritage and Indian roots.

We are all unique. Our passions, our values and dreams, our pain and suffering, have all contributed to who we are today and can play a part in what we want for tomorrow.

This is the first step in a coaching program...being curious about what makes you, YOU. Where are you right now, what stories do you bring with you and where do you want to go?
