Role play is quite literally like magic! Every chance to dress up is a chance for the developing mind to combine learnt facts with imagination. As they get in to character, kids apply emotional intelligence, language, and creative thinking. Bonus points if the setting the role play is happening in is unrestricting, like an open air outdoor garden which empowers children to initiate and structure their ideas and offers natural sensory experiences. Parent tip: get in to character and join in — it’s an invaluable way to get to know your little one.
