UAL Short Courses in Dubai

We’re delighted to announce our collaboration with Sharjah-based Irthi Contemporary Crafts Council on AZYAME 2019 – a fashion entreprenership programme that aims to nurture the next generation of Emirati fashion designers through a one-year mentorship course. The programme will be delivered by visiting lecturer, fashion business consultant and international best-selling author Toby Meadows.

Calling all aspiring Fabric Designers! Entries are now open for the Istanbul International Fabric Design Contest 2019.
Amazing opportunities up for grabs:
• First prize 8,500 euro, second prize 4,250 euro, third prize 2,215 euro
• The cost of travel and accommodation to Istanbul will be covered by ITHIB
• The manufacturing of fabrics of the 10 finalists will be done by leading textile companies of Turkey
• 3 finalists will also have the opportunity to visit the Premier Vision Exhibit in Paris in February 2020
• The deadline for digital project file submission is 10 June 2019
