At the heart of Glendale’s Buddy Reading programme lies a simple yet powerful idea that learning is best when it is shared. This time, it was the turn of Year 4 students to step into the role of mentors as they spent a special session reading alongside FS2 learners. With patience, pride, and gentle encouragement, the older students guided their younger buddies through stories, helping them build confidence, curiosity, and a love for reading.

Glendale International School was delighted to host the Indian Women in Dubai Business Gathering, welcoming an inspiring community of accomplished women leaders and entrepreneurs. The event was made even more special by the wonderful talents of our students, with the school band delivering a captivating musical performance and our dancers lighting up the stage with an energetic showcase. Principal Ms Jasmit Kang warmly introduced the Glendale vision, sharing the school's commitment to nurturing confident, future-ready learners. Adding a heartfelt touch to the occasion, Glendale students lovingly created hand-painted bookmarks for each guest—a small but meaningful gesture that reflected the creativity, thoughtfulness, and community spirit at the heart of our school.

Can technology be called a force for good? Our Year 4 and Year 5 students certainly had plenty to say during Glendale’s Debate Championship as they tackled the motion, “Technology has done more good than harm in modern society.” Aided by passionate argument and quick-thinking rebuttals, each moment had their peers enthralled. It was indeed wonderful to see our young learners finding their voice, challenging ideas, and speaking with such conviction and enthusiasm.

12 Gold Medals, 2 Silver Medals and 3 Bronze Medals! What a year for our little Glendalian and we couldn't be prouder.
Joshua concluded his season in the best way possible, sweeping the Summer Meet with Gold in the 100m, 200m, and Long Jump, and being awarded Best Athlete, Under 9 Boys, and did it all after bouncing back from a stomach flu.
Across the entire academic year, Joshua has collected 17 medals in all, a tally that speaks for itself.
