Our Sensory Walk Zone!
“What does the mud feel like?” Squishy!
“What do the stones feel like?” Cold!
“Which one’s your favorite?” Pebbles feel nice!
Sensory walks can help toddlers to understand concepts such as cause and effect, self-regulation and problem-solving, to name a few. They also teach young children about textures and feelings, such as soft, hard, ticklish, cold, wet.
