Potty Training – Hard or Easy?
Potty training can be a very emotional period for a child. Some children go through it easily while others need more time and support. Nursery is a big help when it comes to potty training.
How will you know that your toddler is ready to be potty trained. If your little one isn’t developmentally ready for potty training, even the best toilet tactics will fall short.
Following motor and emotional development of children, it is important to mention that potty training shouldn’t start before your child walks independently. Most children are ready for it around the age of two years. The following signs will tell you that your child is ready to start:
• Changing fewer diapers is a sign that they are developing bladder control and are becoming physically ready for potty training.
• Your child’s nappy is dry in the morning, after a full night of sleep.
• Your little one started verbalizing their desire to go the bathroom.
• Your child hides during and after doing a number two.
• Your child notices and doesn't like dirty diapers.

The number one thing when choosing a Nursery is the location. Why? Think about it.
We all live really busy lives and no matter if you are a working parent or a stay at home parent, are you really ready to drive a long way every morning and afternoon? I suppose not.
So start with your neighborhood. Are there any nurseries near your home? Is it in walking distance or will you have to drive? Walking to nursery can be a great way to spend time with your little one.
Another good option is choosing a nursery that is near your work place. This way you can drop your child and go to work and pick him/her up once you are done. The only disadvantage is that your child might fall asleep in the car on the way back home which can disrupt their bedtime routine and night’s sleep.
