Creating a community of teaching and learning Arabic at home, by training parents, specifically non-

20/03/2026

This Ramadan was a journey of the heart.

A journey where our children didn't just learn or speak new words, but more importantly, connected to something much deeper. We learned about values like sharing and racing to do good, through the story of Adnan wa tabaq Ramadan.
We learned about protecting ourselves from greed from the story of Bitteekha.
We learned how to fix our mistakes from the story of "The Aunty who swallowed a Sammosa" And
We learned how to not let fear take over our hearts and share our feelings with our loved ones through the story of "Aashat Ash Sheen"
We didn't just read books, we sang, jumped, played and created shared moments of joy this Ramadan that we will truly cherish..

To every parent who showed up,to every child who tried, spoke, laughed, and expressed; you are the reason this community feels so alive.

This is more than learning Arabic.
This is about nurturing hearts, building confidence,
and raising children who feel connected; to their faith, their language, and who they are.

عيد مبارك
تقبل الله منا ومنكم

May Allah accept from all of us,
and allow the beauty of this month to remain in our homes, our hearts, and our words, Ameen.

Best wishes,
Team Arabically

We teach our children how to read.
How to write.
How to achieve.
But how often do we teach them how to give?
Not just to give what they don’t need…
but to give with thought.
With care.
With ihsaan; Excellence
Join us this Ramadan, as we gather to honor those who quietly do so much for us every single day;
the helpers in our homes,
the municipality cleaners,
the delivery riders.
Each child will carefully pack a special box of goodies,
decorate it with love,
and write a personal note;
transforming a simple box into something far more meaningful.
Join us at Al Twar Library on 8th March 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM,
to nurture the spirit of giving through meaningful stories, interactive games, and hands-on activities designed to help children experience the true joy of giving with ihsaan.

What learning looked like last Sunday...

We started outdoors with a simple question;
What do you see?
We observed the buildings around us and their architectural elements and materials.
Suddenly, one curious observer spotted a hoopoe bathing in the sand. She then gave us a mini lesson on how birds bathe in sand. Child-led learning for the win! 😍
We played a scavenger hunt and spotted domes قُبَّة, arches قَوْس, columns عَمُود, and materials around us.

Indoors, we went back in time to explore architecture from around the world using a big collection of books from the library. We learned the significance of traditional architectural elements like the Mashrabiyyah and Barjeel.
We then played dumb charades and guessed famous landmarks of the UAE, we explored textures and materials and finally, we ended the session with a building activity, were we built 3D shaped and mini cities inspired by tradition.

We kept thinking…
Where can families who are learning Arabic or are interested to, actually connect?

Not in a classroom.
Not behind screens.

So we planned a picnic.

Children playing, parents talking, Arabic showing up naturally but intentionally.

Our very first,
Arabically Annual Picnic is here!

What we have in store for you:

1. A heart-to-heart parent session with guest speaker Farah Kalsekar (Certified Kids Coach)
2. Free play area for little explorers (ages 3–6)
3. A fun treasure hunt with prizes (ages 7–12)
4. Arabic trivia & games for the whole family

🥗 Potluck-style picnic
Families are welcome to bring a dish to share and their own cutlery, as part of our effort to reduce single-use plastic and care for the environment
For comfort and ease, men and women will be seated separately during the gathering.

Come join our community and meet the team behind Arabically.

Free entry for all

Ever wish Arabic learning felt more natural… and less like a class?

At Arabically, we see it all the time—children learn best when their hands are busy, their hearts are curious, and learning feels joyful.

This January, we’re inviting children to slow down, explore, and connect through our Nature-inspired Design & Jewelry-Making Workshops.

An interactive children’s workshop that introduces design concepts through the art of “Sadu” weaving patterns and traditional stories.
