Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a complex developmental condition that affects communication and social interaction in children. ASD is a spectrum disorder, which means that the symptoms and severity can vary greatly from child to child. Early intervention is crucial when it comes to managing ASD in children, and a range of therapies, such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, and behavior therapy, can help children with ASD to develop the skills they need to navigate the world around them.

All children are shy from time to time and labelling them for being so can only lead to self-criticize themselves and make themselves feel shyer. Parents and caregivers should encourage their children and make them feel safe and proud of who they are.

Never label your child as shy. If your child knows they're shy, they may start to criticize themselves when they exhibit shy behavior. The idea that shyness is bad or that it means there's something wrong with your child will only make them feel shyer.

Authoritarian parenting style is demanding in nature and it focuses more on obedience and control, rather than the child itself. Authoritarian parents place high expectations on their children with a lack of feedback and poor responsiveness while authoritative (gentle) parents provide children with support, allowing them to express themselves while clearly setting boundaries and teaching the children the cause and effect of their behaviour by implementing positive and negative consequences.

The main causes of rivalry among siblings which can evoke emotions of jealousy and resentment are mostly rooted in individual temperaments, lack of social skills, special needs, parenting style, parental conflict resolution skills, culture, and concerns with fairness.

Dealing with jealousy between siblings can be very stressful for parents, especially when they are overwhelmed with all the other responsibilities which come with the new baby in the house, but it is absolutely normal and expected, it is a common way for children to express their feelings when the baby arrives.
