Yas in Schools is offering a school Holiday Camp during the upcoming spring break. Suitable for ages 9 – 13, the weeklong camp will be based at Yas Marina Circuit and will challenge students with creating their own mini racing team by designing a team identity, making a mini race car, and racing it to be crowned Camp Champions.

If that isn’t exciting enough, the week will also feature a karting experience and a behind the scenes tour of Yas Marina Circuit.

We are committed to offering in-school classes for parents to allow the school to be a place of learning and enjoyment for everyone, not only students. As such, we are very excited to bring back the following free CCAs for parents:

🌙 Arabic Language
🌙 Islamic Culture (taught through Arabic)

Arabic Language lessons will take place weekly between 3:15pm – 4:15pm on Wednesdays, commencing Wednesday, 4th October (in room 225).

The class will help parents learn the basics of Arabic, with a focus on conversation.

Islamic Culture class will take place weekly between 3:15pm – 4:15pm on Tuesdays, commencing Tuesday, 3rd October (in room 215).

This class will be taught in Arabic and will cover topics about Islamic rulings, Islamic and national events, aimed at strengthening the school’s national identity and community.

🐘 Reunion Update 🎉

Remember the adorable stuffed elephant that was left behind at the Year 1 & 2 Parent Coffee Morning last Thursday? Well, we're excited to share that this fluffy friend has been happily reunited with its little owner, Sam! 🤗🧡

Thanks to the power of our amazing BIS Abu Dhabi community, we were able to reunite ‘Ellie’ the elephant to the rightful owner. Sam's face lit up with joy when we handed back his beloved friend. It was a moment that melted our hearts.

After our Year 1 & 2 Parent Coffee Morning last Thursday, it seems like one special guest couldn't find its way back home! This adorable stuffed elephant was left behind. 😢

Did your child attend our coffee morning and happen to leave this fluffy friend behind? We're on a mission to bring them back together! 🧡

Four Notes offer on-campus individual music lessons for your child to learn an instrument of their choice 🎼🎸🎻🎹🎷. Currently, they are providing lessons in Piano, Singing, Violin, Viola, Cello, Guitar, Ukulele, Drums, and Music Theory. These lessons take place on a weekly basis, opening the doors to many different musical opportunities and lots of fun!
