Leading the Change in Arabic Language Education 🌱

Our Elementary and Secondary Arabic Departments at AISA are proud to begin a new journey through the Certificate in Arabic Language Teaching program, offered by the Arabic Language Institute for Excellence at the American Community School of Abu Dhabi, in collaboration with the American University of Beirut.

We are excited to learn, grow, and transform the way we teach Arabic—creating richer and more meaningful learning experiences for our students.

Together, we lead the change. ✨

🌍 Celebrating Culture and Identity 🌍

As part of their Unit of Inquiry, “Who We Are,” Grade 4 students explored and shared their cultural identities through a meaningful provocation.

Each student brought an object or symbol representing their culture and shared the special story behind it. This experience encouraged students to learn from one another, honor their heritage, and celebrate the rich diversity of our learning community. 🤝✨

🦁✨ A great start to our Elementary Assemblies, led by our Elementary Leadership Team, Dr. Kevin Fosburgh and Ms. Nejdawi!

Students came together to celebrate community, culture, kindness, leadership, and school spirit. 🇦🇪 We introduced “Ishy Bilady” as part of our assemblies moving forward, along with Nabati Poetry to celebrate UAE heritage and traditions.

We also highlighted the AISA Lion Way, Kindness, Respect, and proudly introduced our Elementary Student Ambassadors and their leadership roles across the school. 💙💛
