🌸Agnes Stott-Briggs🌸, the Founder of WIN will not raise her eyebrows at me saying that yesterday's WIN was the most effortless afternoon tea she ever hosted. Nothing like a spontaneous one-shot latte, macaroons and chunky cake slices at the Central Grounds, Marriott Hotel Downtown (Carlos, thank you). WIN ladies came in one by one or plus one, fun connecting with new friends, old friends and mutual friends yesterday. Lots of spilling the tea and one literal cup flipped. We were occupied for three hours of real UAE experiences of work, domestic affairs with lessons learned, one colour 🤓to avoid if at all possible, new Aldar ArtHouse properties to buy or to rent, mini pink cake from Sprinkles and Icings, treatments and healthcare, inspiring ideas of where to retire in the Philippines or elsewhere. Agnes did not set a programme at all, but we covered a lot. I guess, like me, everyone was in for a much needed tête-à-tête. 🌸Thank you very much for coming ladies from Madagascar, South Korea, Egypt, US and of course, ladies who have been in the UAE for ages ... no need to mention years.
