MI Alumni office is planning to arrange for an Alumni Speed Networking event.

Speed networking is a structured and fast paced networking event allowing students and Alumni to interact with each other, typically in a series of brief one-on-one information exchange, basically each Alumni will sit on a round table and each 4 students will be timed to network with Alumni by moving across all tables.

The fast pace of this kind of event contributes to a high level of energy in the room and basically the main target is to share information in a dynamic way.

What is the Alumni role during the event?
Alumni role is to give brief about their experience in MI and career path after graduation:
- What was their program?
- Work placement/ position?
- How did they look for a job?
And etc.. Some people like speed networking because you get right to the point and there is no time for small talk.

Therefore we need our Alumni help to print a positive impression on MI student.

First PhD graduate heralds the start of an era of innovation | The National The first PhD student to graduate from Masdar Institute of Science and Technology is an important step forward, writes Youssef Shatilla.

The internal Masdar Institute newsletter, previously called ‘Connect', is currently being revitalized to maintain the Communication Department commitment to the latest best practice for design and content and will be launched by May 2015.

MI Alumni Office will have a dedicated space and will be more than happy to expand this opportunity and give MI Alumni the chance to share their stories, achievements, etc..

This practice will give you the chance to stay informed of the latest events and achievements around campus as well as sharing your stories internally.

MI Alumni Office is going to have a booth in the Green Careers Fair Exhibit. As a result, we would like to ask for volunteers to man this booth during WFES week.
