Our boys from Grades 5–12 recently took part in a session focused on Student Behaviour Expectations reinforce the importance of following Sana'a culture by respecting one another, acting responsibly, and using positive language throughout the school community.

The session also included a Safety Induction with our Health & Safety Officer, where students were introduced to essential safety procedures and reminded of their role in maintaining a safe environment for everyone.

Through these sessions, our students were encouraged to make responsible choices, follow school expectations, and contribute to a positive and safe learning environment.

Together, we build a community grounded in respect, responsibility, and safety.

🌟 Student Council in Action! 🌟

The journey to our next Student Council has officially begun! Last week, candidates for President and Vice President took part in interviews, where they were given the opportunity to share their ideas, leadership qualities, and vision for our school community.

They answered questions about how they would contribute, support their fellow students, and help bring out the best of IAS. 💙

As the selection process continues, we look forward to seeing our students step forward, take responsibility, and make their voices heard.

In celebration of Programmers’ Day, our Grade 12 students had the opportunity to dive into programming, put their coding skills into practice, and enjoy the process of creating through technology.

It was wonderful to see their curiosity, creativity, and enthusiasm as they explored programming together. To make the celebration even more special, our students proudly received their certificates in recognition of their participation and efforts. 👏

Together for Every IAS Star! 💙

Our Inclusion Department welcomed parents for a meaningful session focused on support, collaboration, and student development.

Parents had the opportunity to learn more about the services and support provided by our Inclusion Department, while also strengthening communication and partnership between school and home.

We were also pleased to welcome Ability Center, who shared valuable insights into therapy sessions, their importance, and how they can support our students’ development and progress.

The session also provided an opportunity for parents to connect, share, and engage over coffee, tea, and pastries.

At IAS, we believe that strong communication and collaboration with families help every student thrive. 💙✨

IAS is proud to take part in the “Art Ambassadors” initiative, part of the “National Art Expressions” Program, which encourages students to explore creativity while strengthening their connection to UAE National Identity. ✨

As part of this inspiring initiative, students met with and learned from Emirati artist Karima Al Shomely, gaining valuable insights into how art expresses culture, heritage, and identity.

Through experiences like these, we continue to inspire our students to create, express, and celebrate the UAE through art. 💙

We welcome our Inclusion Parents to join us for Morning Coffee on Tuesday, September 15, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the IAS School Library.

Meet our Inclusion Team and specialists from the Ability Center, including the Doctor, Speech Therapist, and Occupational Therapist, who will be our IAS Inclusion partners. Join us for a morning of meaningful conversation and shared support.

On September 8, our students celebrated International Literacy Day through reading, writing, and creative activities. They put their ideas into words and designed their own bookmarks, making literacy a fun and meaningful experience. 📖✏️🔖

Literacy empowers us to learn, communicate, express ideas, and discover new possibilities—building a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

A special thank you to our Librarian, Ms. Angelica, and the English and MOE Departments for their collaboration and support in making International Literacy Day a meaningful experience for our students.
