Your finances and your nutrition have a lot more in common than you might think.
You check your bank statement on a regular basis.
Because it’s important to keep tabs of what you’re spending and how much you have left.
Your nutrition should be no different.
Just look at the similarities…
Finance
Unless you have unlimited funds, you have to stick to your budget and make sure you don’t overspend.
Nutrition
You only have a certain number of calories per day and you don’t want to overeat.
----
Finances
Spending more than you have has both long-term and short-term consequences. You get hit with penalty fees and, over years, you might end up with debt and interest payments.
Nutrition
Eating has the same, eating too much in the short-term will leave you feeling bloated and uncomfortable and will mean that in the long-term, your jeans get a little tighter and you see less of your feet as you look down.
----
Finances
Managing your finances starts with keeping tabs on the money in and out. Whether it’s looking at your bank statements or checking your bank’s app as you spend. It requires some form of documentation.
Nutrition
Tracking your nutrition also requires some documentation to keep a track of. Whether it’s on an app like MyFitnessPal or the good old fashioned pen and paper.
This is why all of my clients keep a food diary in some way shape or form.
Without keeping track of your nutrition, you can’t see where you’re going wrong or getting things right.
The key to making smart decisions with your nutrition begins with good record keeping.

“If it’s your job to eat a frog, it’s best to do it first thing in the morning. And if it’s your job to eat two frogs, it’s best to eat the BIGGEST one first.” - Mark Twain.
In the morning, right after getting up, you complete the most unwanted task you can think of for that day.
And most people’s frog is the workout.
So if you’ve got a workout to do, get it done straight away.
That’s why I always think it’s best to get the workouts done in the morning.
Simply because, let’s face it, we don’t really ever wake up and jump out of bed waiting for our work out later in the day.
But by getting it done in the morning, you set your day up so much better.
It creates a knock-on effect too.
By doing something you don’t really want to do in the morning and by getting your biggest task of the day out of the way, you feel so much better instantly.
Not to mention you’ll be much more likely to sticking to your healthy eating more.
You wouldn’t want to undo all that hard work from the morning.
Do you absolutely have to work out in the morning?
No.
But you’ll massively benefit so much more than not getting it done first thing.
And if your biggest frog this morning is to find yourself a plan and program that will give you life-changing and permanent results without giving up your favourite foods or an unused gym membership then check out my 60-Day Kick-Start program here:
