My name is Grace Guiney, and I am originally from County Kerry in the south of Ireland. For the past two years, I have been teaching in Abu Dhabi across Early Years and Key Stage 1. I hold a PGCE with QTS in Primary Education and a Bachelor's degree in Social Science.
 
I am passionate about creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment where children feel valued, build confidence, and develop a love of learning. I believe that strong relationships and a positive classroom culture help every child thrive.
 
I am excited to be joining the Mamoura British Academy community and look forward to getting to know our students, families, and staff in the year ahead.

I am delighted to join Mamoura British Academy and begin this exciting new chapter in Abu Dhabi. Since qualifying as a teacher in 2013, I have gained experience teaching across a range of international curricula, working with students from diverse backgrounds and learning environments. I am passionate about supporting students’ academic, personal, and emotional growth, and I have a particular interest in wellbeing and mental health. Outside the classroom,
 
I enjoy practising yoga and reading. I look forward to working closely with students, parents, and colleagues and becoming a valued member of the Mamoura British Academy community.
 

Hello! I'm Mr Daniel Gingell, and I'm delighted to be joining Year 2 this year. With eight years of teaching experience, including five years in Key Stage 1 in the UK and three years in the UAE, I am passionate about creating engaging learning experiences where every child can thrive.
 
I look forward to partnering with families to build a happy, supportive, and successful year for all our students.
 

My name is Grace Shatimehin, and I am delighted to be joining Mamoura British Academy as Head of Year 6 and a Year 6 Teacher. I bring a wealth of teaching experience from both the UK and the UAE, having worked across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, as well as in a range of leadership roles.
 
I am passionate about creating a positive and inspiring learning environment where every child feels valued, supported, and challenged to achieve their very best. Building strong relationships with students, staff, and families is at the heart of my approach, and I am committed to helping every child develop confidence, resilience, and a love of learning.
 
I am very much looking forward to becoming part of the Mamoura community and meeting you all soon.

My name is Matthew Sanderson, and I am delighted to be joining the school as a Primary Teacher. Having spent the past two years teaching in Abu Dhabi, I have developed a passion for creating engaging learning experiences, building positive relationships with students, and helping every child reach their full potential.
 
Outside the classroom, I enjoy playing tennis and football and look forward to contributing to a range of extracurricular activities. I am excited to work closely with students, parents, and colleagues and look forward to becoming part of the Mamoura community and meeting everyone in August.
