Dear Parents,
This might be uncomfortable.
But your child is not the victim every time something goes wrong at school.
Sometimes they talked when they were told not to.
Sometimes they were disrespectful.
Sometimes they didn’t try.
Sometimes they broke the rules.
And that doesn’t make them bad.
It makes them children.
What matters is what happens next.
When every correction becomes a defense case…
When every consequence becomes a negotiation…
When every boundary becomes a personal attack…
Children learn something.
They learn that accountability is optional.
They learn that authority is fragile.
They learn that discomfort is unfair.
Teachers do not enjoy disciplining students.
It slows learning.
It drains energy.
It creates tension.
But without boundaries, classrooms collapse.
The goal isn’t punishment.
It’s preparation.
One day your child will have a boss.
A deadline.
A rule they don’t like.
And no one will email home if they lose their job.
