Our UAE Ambassadors enjoyed an inspiring visit to the Zayed National Museum. This trip was a wonderful opportunity for the Prep and Senior schools to connect and learn more about our country, culture, and history.
Pupils explored a range of historical and cultural exhibits and, with Mr. Northcroft’s guidance, deepened their understanding of archaeology and the significant periods that shaped our region. They learned about the UAE’s proud pearl diving heritage and how generations of Emiratis harvested pearls and built trade across the Gulf. Most importantly, they returned with a stronger appreciation of the vision that Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan set for our nation at its founding in 1971.
Watching how the older pupils cared for the younger ones and included them in their conversations and enjoyment of the museum was heartwarming and a tribute to the proud culture of community that our pupils strive for daily.

It was wonderful to see Pre Prep come together for Frontliners Tribute Day, with children dressed as a range of community helpers including doctors, nurses, firefighters, teachers and police officers. The range of costumes showed how much the children value the people who support and care for us every day. Many also brought generous Red Crescent donations, reflecting real kindness and awareness of others.
The Year 2 Pupil Council led an assembly highlighting why frontliners are important and classes spent time creating thank you messages and reflecting on kindness and appreciation.
Thank you to all families for supporting this special event and helping us recognise our community heroes.

Our Bright Start programme has officially begun and our future Nursery (FS1) and FS2 pupils are already taking their first steps toward becoming Brightonians. This week, we explored the theme of building relationships, creating connections, learning together, and discovering what it means to be part of our vibrant school community.
The children had a fantastic time getting to know their new school environment and meeting their wonderful teachers. Parents also benefitted from valuable child‑development insights shared by our fantastic Early Years team.
