You may not be aware that boys as young as ten are trafficked to perform the backbreaking and hazardous job of harvesting cocoa beans in the Cote d’Ivoire, West Africa. These cocoa beans are turned into the chocolate that we buy and love from supermarkets all over the world.

Please help us stop this by signing the petition in their website in order to help eradicate the use of human trafficking and child labour:

Allowing students the ability to create and manage their own clubs is something we, as the Student Council, have worked hard to achieve. As a community, we feel it is our duty to create a sense of belonging for every student and grant them a platform for expressing their creativity and share common interests with fellow school mates. However, the amount of club forms received are well below the expected number and we highly recommend students to seize this opportunity to make their mark and contribution to this school. This club making procedure will be implemented every year henceforth and will be passed on to the next Student Council, though we feel it would be better suited to start as soon as possible. So any of you dreamers out there with aspirations or hobbies or interests you would like to share, do not hesitate in making your stand. The attached picture is available for those of you who still wish to fill in your club forms (which are to be submitted to any Student Council member).
