As our Superintendent Monique Flickinger enters into her final year at ACS Abu Dhabi, we’re celebrating a leader who has given so much to our school and helped shape the ACS community we know today.
Monique is known for wearing pink, a color that represents women in leadership and her hope that young girls grow up confident enough to embrace challenges, take risks, and never back away from an opportunity to lead.
We celebrate you, Monique, and the example you continue to set for our entire community.
Leadership looks good in pink. 💗
As the longest-serving Superintendent in ACS history, Monique has led our school through some significant chapters.
Great leadership isn’t just about leading through big moments. It’s also about building up the people who lead alongside you. Monique’s impact can be seen in the leaders she has supported, trusted, and empowered throughout ACS.
Because great leaders don’t lead alone. They create space for others to lead, too.
A legacy is built with people.
Years at ACS mean countless conversations, shared celebrations, challenges worked through, ideas brought to life, and relationships built along the way.
This photo represents just some of the people who have shared in that work with Monique and the community that has grown alongside her.
One photo. A whole lot of ACS love. 💚🐍
