Join us in Al Hudayriyat Island on March 18, 2023 to watch 11 school teams from the UAE, 3 from the USA and 1 from Italy race their electric vehicle cars which they built in the past months from the FREE kits they received!
Global EEE, a US-based nonprofit that organizes student competitions worldwide, along with its partners in the UAE: 3elm Education and Training (Education Partner), U.S. Mission in the UAE, Abu Dhabi University (Academic Partner), Projotech (Technology Partner), EVIS (Events Partner), Naboudah and Mathworks are co-organizing an environment and sustainability related schools program for the first time in the region: the UAE Electric Vehicle Grand Prix (EVGP).
1- The primary goal of the challenge is to provide a hands-on environment in which students apply what they learn in the classroom to devise real-world solutions and create opportunities for students to work on hands-on projects and develop out-of-class skills.
2- The project helps encourage students to pursue careers in STEM fields with a focus on promoting the 3 Es (education, energy, environment) and improves their understanding of renewable energy technologies, critical thinking, leadership, team work, and project management, all while educating the new generation about electric vehicles hence promoting clean transportation options.
3- The project has several out-of-class learning elements: strong emphasis on STEM principals, Soft skills: team work, critical thinking, leadership, innovation, communication, Learn to use tools (basic tools, drilling, measuring, cutting, multimeter).
