The Commission on Filipinos Overseas is urging overseas Filipino workers to verify the accreditation of international Philippine schools before enrolling their children, warning that unaccredited institutions can invalidate years of academic progress.

The advisory follows reports of returning students being denied regular college admission in the Philippines because their overseas diplomas were not recognized by the government.
