A heartfelt THANK YOU to our amazing Facilities Team 💜

Every day, our facilities team works tirelessly to ensure our school runs smoothly. During the summer break, they continue to work hard preparing our campus for the return of staff and students, ensuring everything is ready for another successful academic year!

Thanks to contributions from teachers and students, care packages were created by our Y12 Community Engagement Team and handed out to all the support staff.

This initiative, , was started by Anthony & Norphesia, the parents of Bryce Adams-Williams, a former BWA pupil, who sadly passed away.

Let's all continue to bring kindness and generosity into our school community, just like Bryce. 💜

📣 We are delighted to announce the appointment of our new Head of Secondary, Sean Clarke 📣

A familiar face within our Bateen community, Mr Clarke brings with him 12 years of dedicated service and leadership at the school.

Having previously held a range of key roles including Head of Year, Head of Department, and most recently Assistant Principal for Assessment and Data, he has played an instrumental role in driving academic excellence and supporting student success.

With extensive experience in pastoral care, curriculum leadership, and whole-school strategy, alongside holding both the NPQSL and NPQH qualifications, Mr Clarke steps into this role with a deep understanding of our community and a clear vision for the future.

Passionate about developing well-rounded young people, he is committed to ensuring our students leave Bateen World Academy not only with outstanding academic achievements, but also with the character, resilience, and values to thrive in whatever path they choose.

Please join us in congratulating Mr Clarke on this well-deserved appointment as Head of Secondary.

⭐ Student Spotlight ⭐

We are delighted to celebrate one of our Year 3 students, Leen Abou Chaker, who was recently presented with her certificate and prize after achieving 2nd Place in the Aldar Education English Creative Writing Competition.

Competing against students from 18 Aldar Education schools, her success is a wonderful reflection of her creativity, imagination, and writing talent.

Her winning piece will also be published in the Aldar Education Creative Writing Collection.
