This idiom means once you decide to spend your money, the decision and its consequences are yours—so choose carefully.
يعني هذا المثل أنه عندما تدفع مالك يصبح القرار وعواقبه عليك – فاختر بحذر.

In standard English:
• You pay (not you pays)
• You take (not you takes)
The -s ending normally appears with third-person singular subjects:
• He pays / She takes
Why the incorrect form exists
