📚Aquesta setmana volem recomanar-vos el llibre titulat “Refugee Boy”.

Narra la història d’Alem, un nen de 14 anys que el seu pare és Etíop i la seva mare Eritrea, i com que aquests dos països estan en guerra, la família d’Alem no és benvinguda en cap dels dos llocs. Alem ha de fugir tant d’Etiòpia com d’Eritrea i acaba com a refugiat a Gran Bretanya.

Benjamin Zephaniah escriu amb un estil senzill i clar que els estudiants amb nivell B1+ tenen poques dificultats per comprendre;👌🏻 també ens exposa a la complexitat de la vida com a refugiat.

Potser la història és una mica dura, però el llibre no es fa pesat.😉

Benjamin Zephaniah writes in a simple and clear style which students with a B1 + level have little difficulty understanding;👌🏻 he also exposes us to the complexity of life as a refugee.

Maybe the story is a little harder, but the book doesn’t get heavy.😉

Les persones amb síndrome d'Asperger sovint tenen dificultats en les relacions socials i la comunicació, i aquest és certament el cas de Christopher. Quan descobreix l’assassinat d’un gos d’un veí, decideix investigar-lo.

La història s’explica des del seu punt de vista i les seves explicacions sobre tot el que veu i escolta són clares, lògiques i fàcils d’entendre. El llenguatge emprat és molt directe.🧐

People with Asperger syndrome often have difficulty in social relationships and communication, and this is certainly the case with Christopher. When he discovers the murder of a neighbor’s dog, he decides to investigate it.

The story is told from Christopher's point of view, and his explanations for everything he sees and hears are clear, logical, and easy to understand. The language used is very direct and straightforward.🧐
