An injury can take you away from running, but it doesn’t have to take away the runner in you. ❤️🏃🏾♀️
Today, I finally got back out there after being sidelined by an injury. Putting my running shoes back on and hitting the road felt like more than just a run — it felt like getting a little piece of myself back.
It was tough, but I showed up and that was enough.Sometimes it’s not about the pace. It’s about showing up for yourself. Slow doesn’t mean you’re going backwards. Sometimes slow is simply what moving forward looks like.
One run at a time. One step at a time. No pressure at all, I'm just grateful to be moving again.
The comeback may be slow, but I’m back in the game. 🏃🏾♀️🔥
