🙏 Closing Mass Term 2 2026 🙏

The St. Bernard's Primary School family gathered in faith and thanksgiving for the Closing Mass, which was celebrated by Fr. Mobie Musakatiza and Minister Richwell Chibunhe.

We were grateful to God for His guidance, protection, and countless blessings throughout the term. We sincerely thanked Fr. Mobie Musakatiza and Minister Richwell Chibunhe for leading us in prayer and for sharing an inspiring message of faith, hope, and service.

The celebration reminded us of the importance of placing God at the centre of our learning and daily lives. We prayed for God's continued protection and blessings over our learners, staff, and families during the holiday.

FROM DASSAF TO PASSAF!

What an amazing showcase of talent!

A SPECIAL CONGRATULATIONS to our ICT GIANTS - the Programmers.

Edel Munetsi & Einstein Musonza

Our boys scooped 1st position in the ICT category at DASSAF and will now proceed to represent Chegutu District at PASSAF - The Provincial Competition.We are also proud of Edel Munetsi who is preparing to represent us in Debate and Public Speaking at the SADC competition in Botswana. We applaud every learner, staff member, and our supportive community for shaping and nurturing these brilliant minds.

Term 2 2026 is ending on a high note.We were honoured to host Sr. Monica - Education Secretary, Archdiocese of Harare for a special school tour.During the visit, she toured classrooms, interacted with learners and teachers, and viewed projects across the school. She was accompanied by Fr. Musakatiza - Local Responsible Authority, Mr. Chiyangwa - School Head, and Mrs. Banda - Deputy Head and Sr Rujeko- School Administrator.We thank Sr. Monica for her words of encouragement, guidance and continued support in shaping and strengthening Catholic education in our school.

Our learners had the opportunity to compete in Quiz, ICT, Marimba, and Debating at the District Annual Science, Sports and Arts Festival - an educational and co-curricular competition and exhibition program.

‎The Israelites thought sacrifices and offerings alone would please God. But God was more concerned about justice.

‎In Amos’ time, people were corrupt and oppressive — yet they still came to make sacrifices in the temple.

‎Amos reminded them: God wants love and justice, not empty rituals. “Let justice roll like a river.”

‎Fr. Musakatiza challenged us today: Justice isn’t only for leaders, police, or “superiors”. It starts with me and you. In how we treat others, how we speak, and how we act daily.

History made again! For the 4th time in a row, our handball teams dominated at the Norton District Competitions held on Friday.

CELEBRATING CORPUS CHRISTI ✝️⛪

At St. Bernard’s Centre, led by Fr. Musakatiza, we gathered in joy to celebrate Corpus Christi - the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ.

It was a day of new beginnings as our Church welcomed new members through the Sacrament of Baptism, the gateway into Christian life. Welcome to the family! 💧🕊️

We also rejoiced with those who received the Holy Eucharist for the first time - may this be the start of a lifelong journey of faith and love.

“Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life” - John 6:54
