Pastoral Experience During Easter at St. Richards Murambinda.

During the Easter celebrations at St. Richards Murambinda, our journey as seminarians took on a profound and transformative dimension through our pastoral exposure. As part of our formation, we were given the unique opportunity to immerse ourselves in the mission of Christ by partnering with different priests and serving at various stations, especially reaching out to the far marginalized communities.

Each of us, five seminarians, was assigned to a different station, where we encountered the diverse realities of our people. From bustling villages to remote, less accessible areas, we experienced firsthand the challenges and hopes of those often overlooked. This pastoral mission was not just about delivering the Gospel but about embodying Christ's love and compassion in action.

One of the most moving moments was preaching the Gospel of Resurrection to communities that had little access to such messages. Seeing their faces light up with hope and joy as they listened to the Good News reinforced our calling and ignited a deeper sense of purpose within us. It was a reminder that the message of Easter is alive and powerful, capable of transforming lives and rekindling faith even in the most marginalized.

Throughout this period, we learned to listen, to serve humbly, and to recognize the presence of Christ in every person we met. The experience deepened our understanding of what it truly means to be ministers of the Gospel — to reach out to those in need and to be witnesses of Christ's resurrection in the world.

This Easter at Murambinda was a profound reminder that the mission of Christ continues today through our actions, our words, and our love for others. It challenged us to carry this spirit forward as future priests, committed to serving wherever the Lord calls us.

Vigil Saturday Reflection

As we gather this Vigil Saturday,we are reminded of the silent strength and unwavering faith of our spiritual ancestors. The night before Easter, the Vigil is a time of anticipation, a moment to reflect on the journey from darkness to light, from despair to hope.

Reflection:
In the stillness of this night, we meditate on the perseverance of saints like St. Monica, whose prayers and faith shaped the destiny of her son, St. Augustine. Her patience and unwavering hope teach us that even in our darkest hours, faith can illuminate the path forward.

This vigil invites us to examine our own spiritual journeys. Are we waiting in patience like Monica, trusting that God's timing is perfect? Are we ready to emerge from our personal darkness into the light of Christ’s resurrection?

Let us remember that tonight is not just about waiting but about preparation — preparing our hearts to welcome the Resurrection. Like the early Christians who waited in hope, we too are called to keep vigil, to pray, and to trust in God's promises.

Prayer:
Lord, as we keep vigil tonight, fill our hearts with hope and patience. Help us to trust in Your divine plan, just as St. Monica trusted in Your mercy. May this night of reflection prepare us to celebrate the joy of the Resurrection with renewed faith and love.

Holy Thursday, or Maundy Thursday, is a Christian holy day that emphasizes humility, service, and love, recalling Jesus washing His disciples' feet and instituting the Eucharist. It encourages us to serve others with humility, cherish community, and prepare for Easter with hope and renewal. The day inspires us to embody Christ’s love and compassion in our lives.

"As a producer, my daily life is a grind, but it's worth it. From studio sessions to community life and from creative blocks to Reaserches , every moment fuels my passion for Digital journerling🎤"

Working behind the scenes in the studio has deepened my understanding of storytelling. I’ve learned to craft narratives that resonate with our youth and elders alike. Digital journalism allows me to reach a broader audience beyond the seminary walls—sharing stories of faith, social issues, and community triumphs. My goal is to harness technology to bridge gaps and foster unity. Every project feels like a step closer to my calling, blending my passion for media and priestly servive.
