Our own STRENGTH is limited to some extent but when we trust IN THE LORD our strength is renewed

Psalm 27:1
“The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?”

Penned in a time of distress, David reaffirms his faith in his God, strengthening himself by the strength of God.

Having trusted the Lord, he has seen first-hand on many occasions the faithfulness of God towards those whose hearts are fully devoted to him (2 Chron 16:9).

God helped him slay the lion when his sheep were under threat (1 Sam 17:37).

God helped him slay the giant who defied God’s armies, and the Philistines, the king who wanted his head, and all other opposition.

Is it not amazing that you are a soul that has been won to the KINGDOM of GOD. 😊

Proverbs 11:30

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance – 2 Peter 3:9 (NKJV).

Every Christian is expected to be a soul winner. Unfortunately, many Christians don’t see the reason to make soul winning their business.

Revelation 12:11

11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

The “word of our testimony” refers to the personal stories and declarations of faith that believers share about how God has worked in their lives.

It involves recounting experiences of God’s grace, mercy, and power, and how these experiences have strengthened their faith and helped them overcome challenges.

In essence, it’s about sharing how one’s life has been transformed by faith,

which can inspire and encourage others. This concept is rooted in the idea that personal testimonies can be powerful tools for witnessing and spreading the message of faith.

Why Serving Others is Important

GALATIANS 5:13

But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.” Jesus showed the ultimate selflessness in laying down his life to set us free. We must always seek to imitate his selfless love by serving others instead of simply serving ourselves

There are many reasons serving others is important. It helps to make the world a better place. By taking action to help others, you create a ripple effect of positivity and kindness that inspire others to do the same. Serving others helps you develop new skills, build stronger relationships, and improve your overall well-being.

The above Psalms is one of the Christians FAVOURITE

After reading it You can be confident that no matter how challenging, dark or difficult the situation you face, God will always be with you and will never forsake you.

Psalm 23
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies

It’s true that God’s presence will go with us even in the darkest times.

What God also promises us is that his provision and protection will watch over us as well. God prepares a table for his sheep.

The use of the language “in the presence of mine enemies”

lets us know that the prepared table is not just for anyone, but specifically for those who are in relationship with him.

Even in the midst of trouble, dark times and yes even enemies, God will give you a table of provision and protection.

It doesn’t matter what is going on around you.

Thou anointest my head with oil

In the Old Testament, oil was symbolic of the Holy Spirit. So not only is God sending his presence, provision and protection, he is also providing us with power.

Power to endure.
Power to lead.
Power to make wise decisions.

EVERYONE IS LOVEABLE

Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. (1 John 4:11)

We often struggle most of the time to balance our love .We have told ourselves I hate this person

We need to change this mindset make up our mind to love everyone the way God loves us because everyone is loveable.

More so, it’s the right attitude to have as a Christian.

The Bible tells us God gave up His Son because of His love for the whole world (John 3:16).
