Watershed is a unique, Christian, co-educational boarding school, offering academic education to boys and girls between the ages 12 and 18. From Robben Island to Boulders Beach, from Bo-Kaap to the Two Oceans Aquarium, this journey brought classroom learning to life while building resilience, independence, and global perspective.

Four of our A-Level students recently had the opportunity to travel to Switzerland as part of the Combined Schools A-Level Hospitality and Business Programme, gaining first-hand exposure to international education, hospitality and business.

The programme is supported by the Swiss Education Group (SEG), Switzerland’s largest private hospitality education network, which brings together leading institutions specialising in areas such as hospitality management, business, events and related fields.

For our students, the experience was about more than visiting another country. It provided an opportunity to explore international study pathways, different cultures, global career possibilities and the standards of the international hospitality and business industry.
