Through the leadership of Hon. Tongai Mafidi Mnangagwa, here is a Tonganyika Trust former student from Totonga District (Clare Centre), Hotel & Catering Student, Ward 8 Makoni South Constituency, who recently won that stove thanks to the Tonganyika Trust program.

This stove is more than just household equipment—it is a symbol of opportunity, skills, and a brighter future. The student has worked hard to acquire practical training in Hotel and Catering, turning every lesson into real growth, confidence, and hope. Receiving the stove feels like a meaningful reward for the dedication shown throughout the journey, and it will surely support better meals, improved demonstrations, and stronger preparation for future work.

We celebrate the progress coming from Makoni South and we applaud the values behind Tonganyika Trust: empowering young people so they can stand on their own and build sustainable livelihoods.
