Rugby Season is Under Way!🏉🛡️🔥

Yesterday marked an exciting afternoon of rugby as our 1st Team, 2nd Team, and Colts A & B squads all took to the field for their first matches of the season! The boys are just getting warmed up, and this is only the beginning of many fantastic games to come in the 2026 season.

We are proud of the grit and teamwork shown on day one. Here’s wishing all our teams the best for a great season ahead! 💪✨

The Grade 6 Hellenic class headed off this morning on their much-anticipated Grade 6 Camp to Far and Wide in the Eastern Highlands.

With glorious sunshine overhead and plenty of excitement in the air, pupils bid farewell to their parents before setting off for a week filled with adventure, learning and laughter. Lifelong memories are in store for this crew , from obstacle courses and the Sky Walk to team challenges and fireside moments, the week ahead promises to be one they will never forget.

Girls Hockey Tour to Durban! 🏒🇿🇦🌊

Our 1st Team Girls Hockey squad recently returned from an incredible pre-season tour to Durban! Over seven action-packed days, the girls faced tough competition across five fixtures, including a resilient draw against Crusaders Hockey Club and a stellar 2–0 victory over Curro Salt Rock to finish on a high. Beyond the matches, the team sharpened their skills with private coaching from national-level players as well as making time for unforgettable bonding, from watching the Sharks rugby team train to catching them in action at the stadium, with fun stops at Bounce, ice skating, and the water park!

This tour was a fantastic success, allowing our girls to grow in confidence, technical skill, and teamwork. They return home not just as better players, but as a more cohesive unit ready to take on the 2026 season with the true Hellenic spirit. We are so proud of how they embraced every challenge and opportunity - well done, girls! 🛡️✨

Back to school and back together again! 💙✨

Refreshed and ready for a new term alongside our friends and teachers, doing things “The Hellenic Way” - the right way.

Our grounds are buzzing, classrooms are alive with excitement, teachers are smiling, and our boys and girls are reunited with their special friends once more.

Here’s to a term filled with kindness, hard work, laughter, growth, and school pride. We are so happy to have our Hellenic family back together again! 🌟

🎻 Making Music Matter 🎶

Nine lucky Hellenic children recently embarked on an unforgettable musical journey to Istanbul, Turkey - alongside Ms Cabbie Stirling and their families, to attend the 12th European Suzuki Convention.

With violins in hand and hearts full of excitement, they immersed themselves in a world of music - learning, growing, and being inspired by exceptional teachers and young musicians from around the globe. 🌍✨

This incredible experience not only deepened their musical skills but also nurtured confidence, discipline, and a true love for their craft.

We are so proud of our young musicians for embracing every moment of this opportunity and representing Hellenic with such passion and pride. 💙

Soccer Tour Success: Camp Discovery! ⚽🇿🇦🛡️

Our soccer boys are back from an incredible tour to Camp Discovery in Johannesburg! We were proud to send two teams to represent Hellenic, and both the A and B squads displayed fantastic spirit and skill on the pitch. A special congratulations to our U12's, who finished 3rd overall!

The boys were lucky to meet soccer legend Peter Ndlovu at the airport! We are also incredibly proud of the individuals from both teams who were recognized as MVPs of the tournament for their outstanding performances. It was a week of growth, teamwork, and unforgettable memories. Well done, boys! ✨🏆

Throwback: CATSICAS Rugby Festival 🏉☀️✨

We are throwing it back to the energy and excitement of the CATSICAS Rugby Festival! This event is always a highlight for our young rugby players, and we are already looking forward to hosting it again in Term 2 of 2026. From the tough matches on the pitch to the wonderful atmosphere on the sidelines, we can't wait to share in the fun and festivities with our visiting schools once again. 🛡️🔥
