Fine motor skills, hands-on learning and purposeful manipulation help our boys and girls develop the connections their growing brains need. From building and creating to sorting, threading and exploring, every little movement is a step towards bigger learning.

Day in and day out, our boys and girls, staff and families work hard to learn, grow, create, achieve and make a difference.

And every now and then, a visit to the Head’s Office adds an extra-special touch to those achievements! 🌟

Over the year, our Head has welcomed so many visitors, celebrated so many successes and shared countless moments of wonderful work happening across our school.

It’s the little moments, the big milestones and everything in between that make us proud to be Hellenic.

SCHOOL IS OUT FOR HOLIDAYS!

As the school gates close for the August holidays, we look back on a term filled with learning, laughter, growth, creativity and countless special memories. 💙🤍

At Hellenic, we are more than a school; we are a family. A family of brothers and sisters who encourage one another, celebrate each other’s successes, and take pride in belonging to something so special.

Throughout this term, our boys and girls have shown us what it means to do things the right way… The Hellenic Way. With kindness, respect, courage and pride, they have represented our school so beautifully, both inside and outside the classroom.

To our incredible staff, our wonderful boys and girls, and our supportive families - thank you for making this term one to remember. Your commitment, enthusiasm and partnership are what make our Hellenic community so special.

🐞🐛 Minibeast Madness! 🦋🐜

Last week, our Grade 2 boys and girls took to the stage for their delightful production of Minibeast Madness.

Each pupil played their part beautifully, singing and speaking with wonderful confidence. Our stage was filled with colourful creatures and critters, all dressed in fabulous costumes and creative make-up.

A big thank you to our Grade 2 team for bringing the production together, and to our Grade 2 families for being such a supportive audience and for helping to organise the lovely costumes and make-up.

Well done, Grade 2. You made us very proud! 💙💛

🏑⚽🏉🏐 We kicked off the final week of term with our Inter-House Winter Sports Day!

Our pupils traded a regular Monday in the classroom for a day of hockey, soccer, rugby and netball. This event is always a firm favourite, giving everyone the chance to put the skills they have developed throughout the term into action alongside their house teammates.

From the energy on the fields to the enthusiastic cheering from the sidelines, it was a wonderful day of teamwork, house spirit and friendly competition! 💙💛

🏑🏉 And they’re off!

Our boys’ hockey and rugby teams left bright and early this morning, bound for Durban on their sports tour.

After a fantastic winter sports season, the boys will have the opportunity to compete against schools in South Africa, continue developing their skills and enjoy valuable time together as teammates.

We are excited to see what the tour has in store and know that it will be a wonderful experience filled with learning, growth and plenty of special memories.

Safe travels, boys! Make the most of every moment and represent Hellenic with pride. 💙💛

🏉 Congratulations to our Hellenic Rugby Boys! 💙🤍

Huge congratulations to all of our boys who proudly represented their provinces at the Interprovincial Rugby Tournament this weekend.

A special well done to Harare North, who were crowned Champions, and Harare South, who finished with an excellent 3rd place.

These results are a testament to the resilience and determination our boys have shown throughout the season. Their commitment to training and courage on the field have been rewarded with an unforgettable experience.

Interprovincial rugby is where the very best players come together and every boy is challenged to grow. It is wonderful to see quieter players step confidently into new roles, discover their strengths and flourish alongside their teammates. These are the moments that build character, confidence and lifelong memories.

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you for representing Hellenic with passion, humility and sportsmanship. You have embodied The Hellenic Way both on and off the field. 💙🏉👏

As the curtain falls on another fantastic winter sports season, our boys and girls finished in style, showcasing determination, resilience and teamwork at the season-end festivals hosted by Ruzawi and Lilfordia this past weekend. 🏑🏉

One of the greatest joys of watching a season unfold is seeing how our teams grow together.

By the final whistle, the confidence, trust and camaraderie built over months of training are clear for all to see. It is this spirit, as much as the results, that makes us so proud.

Congratulations to every player, coach and supporter who made this winter season such a memorable one. Thank you for your commitment, passion and sportsmanship. 💙🤍
