Climate under spotlight @ Diplomats Awards FOR the ninth consecutive year, the Diplomacy Appreciation Trust (DAT) will host the Diplomat of the Year awards dinner and ceremony in Harare on March 20. This year’s edition will run under the theme, “Climate change: A global challenge to sustainable development”.

The inaugural Open Walls Embassy Day (OWED) will be held on Saturday 28 May 2016 in the Harare Gardens from 8.30 to 4.30pm.

The event presents:
1. Zimbabweans access to embassies without wall barriers and security restrictions and enquire about education, scholarships, VISAS, travel, employment, investment, arts and culture
2. Embassies to showcase their culture, tradition, cuisines, education and business opportunity
3. Embassies and platform to Network and exchange ideas and ideals
4. An arena to advocate and address some of the issues affecting the world today.

This is an annual international exhibition where all embassies in Zimbabwe will exhibit and interact with Zimbabweans outside embassy walls. Providing guests a tour of the world without jetlag. The various embassies will assist with information on education, employment, travel and investment. They will also showcase their culture and tradition through cuisines, music, fine art and dance.
