Mushrooms are grown in any house structure be it a brick, dura-wall or thatch structure. They don't need light, they don’t need a lot of space or much water and they don't need a lot of labour either.
All the requirements are readily available. Mushrooms are very lucrative and they take 35days from planting to marketing. Much better than all crops. They grow all year round. They are not seasonal. Quick and easy income and a very ready market.
We do all project designs from the smallest to the largest and we also supply all the inputs.
We conduct Mushroom Training courses anywhere
In Zimbabwe, in the region and beyond. At our centre in Harare its every Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday from 9.30am to 4pm. After that you are a qualified mushroom farmer.
A fee of US$40 per person covers both Button and Oyster mushroom farming in greater detail and a training manual is included. Refreshments will also be served during the one day course.
Manuals can be purchased for US$10 per copy.
