When the youth replace blows with handshakes, kicks with goal kicks Zimbabwe and its citizens can get far. As FEEZ YOUTH we stand for peace as witnessed by our taking part in the Youth for Peace Games and would like to congratulate the director for 4-H Zimbabwe for getting an international award. As we get geared up for the 2023 Election our message is very clear and specific "No to violence-no to toxic politics of hate and no to harassment". It starts with us as the youth, and the generations to come will learn from us and follow suit.We are kindly informing all political leaders both young and old that when you want to unleash violence ,we will not be available for it.We are simply preaching peace and unity,a holistic approach to safe and violence free politics!!
Peace begins with you, peace begins with me and peace begins with us!!!
FEEZ STATEMENT ON THE ZWL 2.5 Billion Allocation to Political Parties.
As a socialist party, FEEZ has always stood with the values of working tirelessly for the benefit of the people and not of the party. In this light FEEZ remain grounded in the principles and values of promoting people's emancipation.
In relation to the above, FEEZ notes that there is an outcry by some political parties and commentators over the ZWL 2.5 Billion funds allocated under the Political Parties Act.
FEEZ makes it clear that for Zimbabwe to move out of this political ,social and economic limbo there is greater need to be selfless. There is need to focus on the collective objective of making Zimbabwe great rather than making our political parties bigger than Zimbabwe. We have seen a lot of monies from the Political Parties Act being use to promote violence in elections, bribe election officials, used to destabilise the political environment prior, during and after elections. This behavior is sad and greatly uncalled for.
Although, FEEZ notes that for any organisation to function properly there is need for resources, some behaviours by political parties and political actors is worrisome.
We argue that political parties should aim at providing the resources to develop and emancipate our nation rather than milking off the nation's scoffers dry only to satisfy their political expedience.
Be that as it may FEEZ, notes the registration fees set by ZEC for Member Of Parliament which is tagged at 1000USD. We castigate the exorbitant registration fee as it limits the participation of citizens into an election as contestants. We strongly posits that the registration fee is a direct indication of intolerance to citizen participation in politics.
It is also regrettable that only 2 political parties have benefitted from the state and taxpayers funds this year as according to the 5+% law provision. FEEZ registers that the fund should be scrapped altogether. All parties should also be treated equally as they are critical in the consolidation of a democratic society.
In this light we call for the enactment of a new model which totally scraps or repeals the funding of all parties. FEEZ maintains that the allocation of funds is in a way, suffocating the budget of the nation. And there is no justification for the existence of such funding , worse to notice the negative contribution it gives to the political and economic set up if our nation.
We strongly advocate that the Ministry of Finance and Development should aim to prioritise important departments and sectors such as the health and child care, primary and high school development, energy industry only to mention but a few. There are many critical matters such as civil servants salaries and allowances where resources would best be suited rather than financing the regime's terror machinery through funding.
Let's Build Our Country Rather than Helping ZANU PF destroy our great nation.

*FEEZ POSITION ON LOAN HANDOUTS*
The Front for Economic Emancipation in Zimbabwe (FEEZ) castigates and condemns in the strongest terms the lack of compassion by the ED-led ZANUPF regime to the suffering masses of Zimbabwe as shown by its move to fork out millions of scarce foreign currency to Ministers, Deputy Ministers and Members of Parliament in the guise of providing residential stands loans.
The FEEZ party does not take lightly this insensitive move by the ZANUPF government which is being done at the expense of the poor taxpayers who include civil servants whose salaries are way below the poverty datum line and the poor masses who can't access basic social services like health as they are living on less than $1 a day.
As FEEZ, we know that these monies being parcelled out are not meant for purchase of residential homes but meant to provide ZANUPF MPs4ED with ready resources to use in their 2023 campaigns in order for ZANUPF to maintain its two-thirds majority in Parliament. This is so because there is no way a government can provide repayable loans to people who have less than a year in office when vehicle loans of the same magnitude are spread over a five year period.
There is no way these loans are going to be repaid because they are never meant to be repaid.
While some might have wanted us to capitalize on this opportunity to score cheap political points over our colleagues in the opposition, we have chosen to be realistic and objective.
From a principle and moral point of view, we may have wanted to challenge all opposition Members of Parliament especially those from CCC to stop and reflect before taking up these loans as this is not only going to reflect badly on them but also leave them compromised and tainted such that they wont be able to hold the government to account and will largely be seen as being selfish. However on another thought, we noted that it will be unwise to encourage them to do so given that their ZANUPF and MDC colleagues will still take the money and fund their 2023 campaigns. It is tricky for the CCC legislators to do so also given the fact that both ZANUPF and MDC parties have always had a share from Political Parties Finance given by government and the CCC has been struggling to get funding and only relying on handouts from well-wishers.
Besides these monies, that the ED led ZANUPF government is giving out to its MPs4ED under the guise of housing loans when in reality these are campaign funds, the opposition will have to face a well-oiled ZANUPF campaign machinery being bankrolled to the tune of USD150 million. In a normal set up we would have asked our colleagues in the opposition to turn down the loans but doing so will leave them financially crippled ahead of a crucial election.
We urge Zimbabweans to be able to read between the lines. Here we are dealing with a cunning government that has for the first time in history given out a budget to fund activities of the ZANUPF Secretary for Environment and Tourism (Mai Auxillia Mnangagwa) under the guise of supporting the First Lady's cultural and tourism programmes. That is ZANUPF for you.
We therefore urge our comrades in the CCC to look at this matter objectively and find a better way to handle the issue before it causes disharmony in their movement ahead of 2023.
More importantly, we feel that it may also be unfair, if we also don't point out and condemn the bad habits of the electorate that we believe contribute to what we are condemning today. We make an issue out of the common but bad practice by the electorate of demanding to be bribed and bought out through soliciting for goodies and handouts from those they seek to vote into office to serve and represent them as this practice leads to incidences where those elected after having pumped out their hard-earned resources to win an election would naturally then seek to recover costs incurred during campaigns when they get in office. For as long our people continue to commodify their vote and demand to be bribed to vote for a leader, it will be difficult to demand selfless and servant leadership from those who would have bought their way into public office. This practice breeds corruption and must be discouraged and stopped going forward.
The FEEZ Party as led by Chief Commandant Godfrey Tsenengamu, being a partner in the 3rd Way Movement pledges a principled, selfless, compassionate, people-centered, servant and God-fearing leadership if elected into office.
