Did you know that breast cancer incidence among women is increasing & is one of the most common cancers in Zimbabwe?

We encourage women to test themselves for breast cancer at least once every month, to ensure that you detect the cancer as early as possible if it is there.
You can comment below to find out how you can test yourself or have your woman tested. Spread the word breast cancer is real and it is a threat!

We are now in the month of October & this is the Breast cancer awareness month. Talking of breast cancer some men are probably thinking this is ladies problem, well newsflash, men can also be infected with this kind of cancer. Some of the causes i list them here:
1. Overweight - we need to keep our body size in check so as to avoid this problem among others.
2. Excessive alcohol consumption is a problem & has been cited as one of the contributory factors causing breast cancer in men.
3. Lack of constant exercise.

Last week i had the pleasure of interacting with one of the medical societies in the country & they were pleased to explain this to me. So i decided to share this with you guys & point out that let us help each other in fighting this problem in our society. Let us not wait for October month to talk about cancer related issues. Routine checkups are necessary in the drive to eradicate breast cancer.
